Since they're topical, re: The Who, the vast majority of Tommy and the entirety of Quadrophenia suck sheep shit through a straw. Like, I'd rather listen to an hour of shitty Lakemoor Fest reggae than Quadrophenia, and whenever the reggay portion of the evening starts, intermixed with every Pink Floyd and Grateful Dead song that all sound the same, I'm hoping people start falling into the fire so I can kick the stereo off the porch without anyone noticing who did it. Still better than Quadrophenia. So nice I typed it thrice.

MANY won't admit it here, but MANY agree with me re: Floyd & the Dead per conversations at said conclave of sinners in Lakemoor.

Quadrophenia is quite possibly the greatest album end to end ever made. Don Tiny is an idiot.

I will disagree with Meatpants on this point he tried to make: It's perfectly fine to refer to him as Peter Townshend.

This is the other extreme. You and DT are both wrong.

I won't say the entirety of Quadrophenia is bad, but there's a lot of it I haven't felt it necessary to keep listening to over the years.

Every Pink Floyd song doesn't sound the same, not at all, that's crazy. You can't tell "Run Like Hell" from "Us and Them"?

The Who is awfully overrated. I cringe when I hear them, nails on chalk board.

Pink Floyd albums have a similar sound but all sound entirely different - if that makes sense.

You can tell that Spiegel doesn't want Danny as a partner with how far he threw Porkins under the bus....but I did want more. Call me Dick Dastardly if you must.

He didn't even call it by the show name the few times I caught it. It was "this is Matt Spiegel with Barry Rozner sitting in. So how about the Bulls?

Spiegel, you and he are hired to talk sports, something he can do a hell of a lot better than you. All I've heard from you so far this week is being a total asshole about music and talking for 30 minutes about fucking cookies.

As a large Man I'll clue you in on something that should be obvious to a large Man but you somehow missed. You make people nauseous when you ramble on about junk food for more than 10 seconds. But Jesus you went on and on about it.
Now I know you feel the need to tear down your new partner because he is SIGNIFICANTLY better at talking sports than you are, but you were completely transparent in your intentions and you came off like a egotistical jack off.
He's not there to talk about 30 to 40 year old bands.
You'd have never pulled some shit on Mac like that and Jason would have whipped your sorry ass if you tried that shit with him. Parkins happens to be young and a bit of a daffodil so you think you can get away with that shit with him. But when he finally says "I don't need to know who the bassist of the bar Kay's is because I just need to continue knowing a hell of a lot more about sports than you" hopefully it shuts your big goofy gay ass soul patch face up.

Jerk.

Here's a band quiz for you Matty...
Which wanna be singer (besides sinic) is out of a job?

Yup. Dude was unprofessional. Maybe he'll learn next time around. Oh wait, he's might be in Parkin's shoes next time around as the 'new guy'. Wouldn't it be something if his new partner gave him the same shitbag treatment that he gave Parkin's?
