Parkins isn't like Bernstein in a lot of ways. Some of you suggested that he was. He's a sports gambler and a poker player. He also goes to strip clubs. So he has those habits while also being relatively smart and well spoken.

He's a combo of Da Ma Na & Dan Bernstein. Which is a good mix.

I wanted to dislike Parkins, but the bits I have sampled have been good. I don't care for his politics, but at least he isn't a complete hypocritical SJW fuckface.

Danny seems like a down-to-earth dude from the bits and pieces of the show I have caught.

People go in on gifts. I was taught pay for my plate and the people I bring with me so we've given that much plus some for weddings.

So in the total you include the shower and wedding gift?

Minimum $300 if it is a sibling. Anything less than $150 a couple is kinda shitty, imo.

I like the guy so far. Unfortunately for Matt, his increasing pettiness is becoming really irritating. It's like he's trying to bully the new guy to cover his own insecurities

Parkins reminds me of a "likable version of Bernstein".

It all depends on the audience I would think. Out here people don't register for much over100-150 bucks but when I've been graced with going to other weddings where the cost of dinner is 100 bucks a plate (for meh food) I can't help but think 250+ to cover the expenses of the night isn't out of line.

I'm having a tough time with this show. Chemistry is lacking.

Parkins will be fine when Lardass is gone. Has thoughts about things that do not involve Meatpants and his dumbass music gig that he loves so. Spiegs sucks at every level of radio. Should stick to singing annoying jingles and being a fatass.

He's going to be solo the rest of the week. I'm not going to be around, but it should be an interesting listen.

The more I hear from meatpants they more I dislike him.

Will be interesting to hear Parkins solo coming up.

The fact they are running him solo and not bringing in a fill-in speaks volumes towards their plans for Parkins and their plans for meatpants

He's becoming The Starland Vocal Band.

I'm hoping Dr. Ken or CH rework the lyrics of Afternoon Delight into a parody song of Speigel.

For Speigs, that is like a rotisserie chicken and a dozen donuts.

Huh, Danny's future father-in-law appears to be a prominent bankruptcy attorney. That's almost like marrying Senor.

I believe on the first show, Parkins wanted to suggest Aaron Rodgers was the greatest QB of all time....didn't make for a good firs impression.

I don't have availability to listen much to any mid-day show, but the little I have, Parkins has grown on me. I'm ok with him.

Spiegel...your plane is boarding.

I like him. He kind of fills that Mac "guys guy" niche for me, without all the associated Mac bombast, and odd pseudo-gay innuendos (obsession with certain linemen's buttocks, or his weird fascination with Ryan Lochte). I'm sure some weird "dark side" of Parkins will come out, but he's been a decent listen for me.
