Post subject:  Parkins is insufferable
My god. I don't know what's worse, his voice, his insistence on beating topics into the ground, his annoying laugh, his horrible throws to break. I'm sure there are more things he's bad at that I'm missing.

I've been a loyal Score midday listener since B&B occupied that slot, but it's becoming more and more evident that a lot of WXRT is in my future from 9 to 1.

Think about this and try not to get nauseous - Danny Parkins is Terry Boers' replacement on the roster. Yuk.

He does talk too much. I don't listen enough to really care but I think that if Meatpants sticks around that it could be a decent
baseball talk show. I think these guys could really ask some intelligent questions when they have Maddon on this season. I
didn't hear Goff doing that the few times I heard him with Maddon and Big Purple.

He is awful. So is Goff, the best thing for the station is when the Cubs regular season starts which will cut into the new air time personalities.

Of course he talks too much he is paired with the worst guy at the station. The more he talks and the less meat talks the better

He does talk too much.

He does have a super annoying laugh.

He's overtly political. I don't need Rush Limbs on my sports radio. Or Al Franken.

He does have some vocal fry.

He does sound like a college student doing radio at times.

However, he is good at interviews, he keeps spiegs out of a comfort zone, I love good baseball talk, and both can talk it.

I tune in an hour or so every other day. That's all I'll be good for, I think.

You can't complain about Parkinsdale if you've been complaining about all the Score hosts for years (as most of us have). He's a competent host who speaks well, has decent thoughts, and isn't insufferable like Bernstein. He's also not an emotional little girl like his partner.

The kid is growing on me. He doesn't take himself too seriously. I get a little tired of the fiance talk. I have a tip for her: run. The dude is a degenerate gambler. That's not going to bode well for their future. Look at spiegs. Struck out twice. My ex also had a gambling thing going. Not to the point that we lost a home, but enough to take over his life. Anyhow, good luck to her. She could probably do better, though she's by no means a looker.
