I know he has the Cubs job, but man, Grote seems like a good fit with Spiegs. I think he's funny and knowledgeable, but also doesn't take himself seriously or talk down to people. I really wish this station would stop hiring weirdo egomaniacs. "It's not fun" |

I'm going to assume not, I would bet the Cubs gig is much more lucrative for him and he wouldn't even consider rocking that boat. |

I like Grote but I've only heard him in short stints. Still, I think he'd be good. |

Didn't Grote have a big drinking problem or something? Wonder if the Score would invest in him since it was relatively public. |

I'm not sure how he'd be in large doses but he has s personality and is mostly likable. Even a bit of a meatball. Hard to believe Bernsie likes him |

grote seems to have an easy going personality that would work with anyone at the station... but if given a daily platform to express thoughts, I don't think there is much he would say. |

I liked listening to Grote & Rosenbloom. That was a once a week thing though. Don't know if I could handle it more than that. |
