Was Mike Huff the QB when you were there?

I believe he was a year or two ahead of me. But we had something like 4000 students after the merger, so I don't think I ever even saw the guy.

So you're about the same time as bigfan.

Since I don't know bigfan's true identity, I don't know.

But that would explain why the bastard wouldn't approve me on here the first time I signed up.

 I think he's class of '84 or '85.

Were you at either of those two classic Evanston-New Trier games in '82? Still the two greatest football games I've seen at any level.

Someone is trying to nail down something around big fan. You just sit back and read the board like everyone else.

You hope Alberto Almora, Jr. has the career Mike Huff did.

No, I've never been much into watching football in person. And going to a game at Evanston meant going within a few blocks of black people, which would have scared most of my friends off.

Good interview today with my guy, Joe Mantegna. That's three Simpson's guys now (Al Jean & Hank Azaria).

Joe in town to get a street named after him, sing the 7th inning stretch and throw out first pitch at Wrigley. Says there is an updated version of his Bleacher Bums set in modern day WS win with flashback to the original play set in the 70's.

Joe threw out the first pitch at the Kerry Wood 20 strikeout game in 1998 (19 year anniversary tomorrow). Says he has that ball signed by KW. Now that's a great piece of memorabilia!
