This happens somewhat I know but repeating interviews sucks. It really is a fuck you to the people that listen to your entire show. I know, I know your audience changes every 20 minutes and so on. These guys are running the same Jed interview from before lunch right now after lunch.

You sure that you are not listening to a really really good show by LoHo?

Agreed. Unless it is some earth shattering news that warrants an exclusive interview "get", don't replay it. With podcasts so easily available now, this is a waste of air time. Unfortunately, this seems to be happening more and more on The Score. They are even replaying them several times over the weekends now...

It's gotta be the equivalent of channels (gaming and movie, primarily) on YouTube re-uploading hot trailers for easy SEO views and subscriptions. It's (literally) derivative content that costs you nothing extra to make, and will get you more engagement than a standard segment propped up by your talent.

It wouldn't be so bad if the other shows played it later on but this is dumb. Just gives the hosts another 20 minute break in their grueling day I guess?

My recollection is hazy, but I believe they are way more likely to pull this trick out when they get a Cubs guy on, right? That's gotta be playing to the game-listening audience, trying to get them hooked to the regular daytime content.
