Bananas That was a great topic! Spiegel's concern about the gas chambers was funny. Personally, I want no green on my bananas and I prefer them to have some black or brown spots. They are softer and sweeter. I know I am in the minority with this preference. These are perfect.

Starting yesterday Spiegel and Parkins will have a "Best of" podcast that will be a 40 min to 1 hr and 15 minute podcast of what they deem to be the best parts of the show. The Bernstein and Goff producers were considering this but couldn't find 15 minutes of solid content on a consistent basis. |

Urlacher has sounded great both times he has been with S&P. I thought he was a real bag during his playing days but he has been really laid back and a fun listen. |

Parkins doesn't realize that the price Ricketts paid for the team INCLUDED the value that Sosa increased through his PED-induced home run hitting career. Ricketts doesn't owe Sosa anything for what he did. Sosa was paid extremely well and Ricketts paid market value for the Cubs. |

Interview with Passan was excellent. Couldn't help but wonder why if the owners are making so much money, why more of it doesn't trickle down to the players. If I were a Pirates fan I would disown that team. With profits and franchise valuation the organization has profited over a billion dollars since 2010. |

Loved the discussion earlier in the week about food courts and Sbarro. But I am the outlier in this one. I have eaten at a food court once in the last 20 years and that was only because my girlfriend wanted Sarku Japan. When one of the producers talked about getting sandwiches from Wendy's and fries from a different place I couldn't help but think of a Bang-Bang from Louie. |
