it's impossible to get tickets if you are streaming given that it's a good 30 seconds behind live radio. so, not really fair for most of us.

I think the Score has proven on many occasions...you can’t always get what you want.

Saw em in 95 at soldier field, was so amped up as a teenager to see em.. Huge letdown..they sucked, washed up then.

We're going to give away a lot of tickets for the show also. We're going to have Stones guests at our tailgate and likely do a podcast/Facebook live stream for it as we're pre-empted by the Cubs that day. I'm hopeful Stones bassist Darrell Jones, a Chicago native (CVS & ISU) will be available. Keith Van Horne, former Bear who's been Keith Richards' body guard, will be among our guests. I'll get some of my FM brothers to come by to guest for the digital side show.

It's going to be bigger than the old MJH tailgates outside the Cell. We'll be set up all day to grill, drink and celebrate the Stones' career. The Score also is a part of a national contest for a winner to see the boys VIP-style in Boston with a meet & greet with 'em.

It's not everybody. It may not be for you. Shit on it if it makes you feel better, but I don't know if any other sports outlet does stuff like this for its listeners. I'm sure a lot of this is going to come out of my pocket, too, but it'll make me feel good to spend quality time with long-time listeners who may share my fondness for the World's Greatest Touring Rock -N- Roll Band.

koach klaus- I saw that '78 version of the Stones at Soldier Field. Keith is not the same guitar player as he was then, this is true... but they played almost the entire "Some Girls" album. I liked SG, but they left way too much ammo in the magazine. They now cover their library more comprehensively. They're the fucking Stones, greatest act in rock and roll. In '13 at the UC and again in '15 at CoAmerica Park, they crushed it. When they cease to be worth the fuss, I'll stop gushing. Meantime, if you can't rock me.... somebody will.

I appreciate your and some of the guys fondness and devotion to the Stones. I am the same way with a couple bands. This is though as long as you realize they can't sing and play like they once did and just experience the experience I think you are fine.

I'd go to the tailgate if I can get a ticket. It's been a while since the group did a tailgate with Dan.

I probably wouldn't throw down the kind of money it will take to get into the concert. I like the Stones and love them live but I imagine this one will cost a mortgage payment to see.

Haven’t seen the stones in 20 odd years. I think my ears still might be ringing. Heck of a show.

I saw the Stones do three shows at the Amphitheatre in June 1972.
Stevie Wonder was the opening act and came back on stage to play the encores with Mick and the boys.
Possibly the best concerts I have ever seen.
I can't believe that was 46 years ago!
