75 mph fastball versus the guy who can turn on a 95 mph heater

Bernstein would be out ahead of every pitch. Mac would throw his hardest and Bernstein would catch it with his bare hand like Kelly Leak

There are some guys that I've hung out with at Sox games a few times. They were in a band called Ratbag Hero. You know these guys, Peeps? I think they went to Rita. They have a song called "Bridgeport USA".

The drummer, Scottie, I guess was a pretty good high school pitcher and pitched at junior college too. He's not real big but he supposedly threw pretty hard. Anyway, one Saturday we were all fucking loaded at a game and Scottie got the idea to try the speed pitch. I think he hit 88 or 89 which is the fastest I've seen anyone throw in there. And he did it with a real pitch not like one of those musclehead dipshits that spin and grunt like they're throwing a discus.

I'm guessing Mac was doing his Uncle Rico bit. Ask him about when he got a hit off Plesac.

Mac has had some physical breaking down over the past few years, but at least he was once athletic. Bernstein is and always has been a girly man.

Girls can turn on 95 mph fastballs too. What's your point?

Got a chuckle from Bernstein’s latest read for Brooklinen, which takes a shot at the MyPillow guy’s Giza Dream. “Don’t fall for those sheets that come from mystical lands, woven by Aladdin.”

I loved THAT Jason Goff.

Thanks Kid Cairo. I would love a compilation of Bernstein's 5'8" AND A HALF statements. Those were headier times before Benstein was neutered where he would regularly throw down statements of outrageous physical abilities.

The great part of that is Terry is sitting there having two kids who were borderline draftable baseball players, as I remember, telling him he is wrong but Bernstein still insisting he is correct.

anybody else hear on the show yesterday Mac reading a tweet during Parkins discussion about sports radio hosts who set up straw men with which to argue. The tweeter wrote that it was a summation of Bernstein's career.

That was some good stuff. Miss those days.

I wish they would have all actually went to a batting cage to see the results
