I can't listen 24 hours a day but every hour that I listen, I would like it to be Bears talk at this time of year.

You can talk playoff baseball in a month, when the Bears are sitting there unbeaten and we are just waiting for the NFL playoffs

I understand why they talk Cubs being the radio home and a team likely making the playoffs. Saying that, how does baseball being an old man's game factor into their targeted audience? Isn't a younger demo more likely to want Bears/NFL talk vs. Cubs rotation/service time talk or do young people even listen to begin with, which makes Cubs baseball conversation more appealing?

I don't mind Cubs talk right now - it would be foolish to think they aren't going to talk baseball, but hoping for a 70-30 NFL talk (with 50 being Bears talk, 20 NFL) over Cubs.

Most people I know only care about NFL and much less about baseball.

The Cubs are in playoff contention and its the station they broadcast on. The bears have yet to play a down of meaningful football and have a Thursday opener against their rival. Not exactly a coin flip

I don't get the criticism. The Cubs are in a division race and it's September. They shouldn't do all Bears. Cubs deserve equal attention at this point. Probably more since it's only week 1 in the NFL.

The listeners want to hear Cubs talk. Why don't you get that?

It would be cool if Bernstein announced he was done talking football after everything he's said about the damage the game causes, but he can't and probably doesn't want to anyway.

I've never understood the nonstop football talk after camp starts. The daily Bears hits aren't needed. They don't do that for other sports. Don't need the Monday presser. Don't need Hub on 6 times a week.
