He sounds pissed.
I mean it sounds like hes quiet and collected but under that is a hint of utter rage.

A must listen on podcast. Something tells me "bad money" spent won't come up.

Did Ricketts deduct the blown FA signings from his salary?

They only have a limited time to talk. You would need to dedicate a whole show to this topic... :?

He started the interview saying he was doing this interview out of obligation and would use next week to go into detail.

Parkins was audibly wounded upon such a declaration

If they had any balls they would’ve told him talk to you next week then and hung up

Yeah there wasn’t much point to him being on.

It's WCUB, of course that is the point of having him on.

Theo's speech pattern often reminds me of Tim Tebow.

Assuming his WSCR/M&P interview arrangement continues after the season concludes!

I don’t agree with that. What’s the value?

I think M/P took it as a professional challenge to listen to his answers extra closely and try to fashion follow up questions in a way to tease out as many specifics as possible.

Telling him, ok bye then woulda been counterproductive

Theo wouldn't talk about the future. But, he'll talk about the past. Mac asked about the numerous bad baserunning blunders.(Rizzo I'm sure). Just a vague silly question like "Bad baserunning is bad Theo?"
I realize now the Cubs/score relationship means a limp question to a Cubs guy into a actual problem, but rarely a signature Mac follow-up to lassoo the squirming, sidestepping weasels.

They took one phone call about the Theo interview that hour. Then, the next hour it began with a football guest. I FF to the end of the football guy and they said all the callers wanted to talk about Theo not football. Then only one Theo call with boring M & P talking the rest of this hour. Funny you have to go to espn 1000 to hear score Cubs interviews discussion.
