I guess it's more inclusive allowing viewers to chat and listen to people they're familiar with, who have similar rooting interests.

Hell, you could probably have a couple Packer podcasters doing it to the Bears telecast and pick up a lot of subscribers.

This really has a chance to catch fire.

I guess so. I don’t really like the idea of listening to something when I’m watching the Packers play. I can kind of see it for baseball or basketball games but the NFL only plays 16 a year. I don’t like being distracted during those 16 if I’m watching my team.
