I don't think Mac will hang it up, even if Entercom tries to put the screws to him on a new deal. He said he started moving metal at Webb and looked to get back into radio to keep his head above water while providing care for his son, who as I understand it, will require lifelong care.

While it would be suuuuuper shitty for Entercom to leverage, even indirectly, Mac's situation with Patrick to save tens of thousands of dollars, the reality is that the resulting contract would still be relatively easy money for Mac, and taking a shorter deal while gambling that this goes away in 6-12 months is probably a better option than not making any money.
