I thought it was really good, close to 30 mins long of stories and funny stuff. He has a great story about butt crack sweat

Didn't Mully stop doing transition with Mac after Mac called him an anglophile? I suspect its true because I did something similar on the text line and it was the only response I ever got from Mully.

I think that was it. I think it embarrasses the South Side Irish guy from St. Tommy More to be called an anglophile.

I generally like Mulli, too (I can't stand Haugh), but he seems to drop the ball on interviews by not being able to formulate preguntas and then, in his rambling, turning an open-ended question into a yes or no question. (I used to do this as a younger teacher all the time. But unlike Mulli, I improved. Or tried to. :D )

I thought he was an unabashed anglophile. I guess he is bashed. He regularly professes love for the english and english things. I wasn't pulling it out of thin air when I wrote that he would wave the St. George's Cross flag at the South Side Irish Parade.

I’ve never understood how some people get so wrapped up in identifying with their heritage.

Or in the sports teams that play in the town they live in.

Dan Patrick has done a nice job keeping tabs on Jim over the years. I revisited some of these awhile back and it was interesting to see how things have changed for the better with him over the years.

I think that might be a likely eventuality, but all I recall is that he's horrendously sensitive to light (he doesn't wear the shades to be cool) and that his memory is near shit-tier ... and he's aware of it which to me sounds horrifying.

Seem to remember that his short term memory is what’s shot but I’m
Not sure. He also talked about seeing some folks in New York after the 85 bears special on ESPN and they did some sort of procedure that helped a bit with a physical issue that seemed to improve a bit of the headache issues.

Sounds like he'll be your top choice for president in 2024!

Yeah, over the years I recall hearing interviews with him a few times.....always a waste of time. Dude could care less about the NFL....doesn't remember much.....not interesting.

Honestly, I'd peg him as a Parkinson's candidate with the number of concussions he likely suffered. Hope that's not the case, but....he certainly took a beating as a player.

No....if it was a good interview, than that's fantastic. I want to like McMahon...it's just every time I've heard him e's been weird and lame.

He accidentally stuck a fork in his eye when he was a kid trying to untie a knot in his shoes so he was sensitive to broadcast-level lighting.

I heard most of the interview, and I agree, he was much more personable, interesting and engaged than previous interviews. Perhaps he's improving with age. The hosts certainly didn't miss the chance to talk pot with him, perhaps it is working medicinally for Jim. I am glad he sounded so good.

I did that intentionally when the Bears won the SB.
