If I could have Anerica over to my house tonight, here's what I'd do. After collecting 335 million phones & distributing the same number of masks, we'd go in the basement lounge and watch American History X. Or maybe Mississippi Burning or Green Book. Then we all could talk.


Did not listen to show or any show on WSCR since this all started so i plead ignorance. I have not listened to any ESPN1000 either. Why? Tweets like above.

What I just cant stand and I think the vast majority of people cannot stand is the VIRTUE SIGNALING and HYPOCRISY.

This was Mac and Parkins terrified two weeks ago of going outside and catching a virus. I assume they are social distancing, but what about "The Medical Community" side they are on. Did that just change? Shaming people to go to work to cut hair(you know have 4 people at most in a barber shop with covid rules), but thousands of protestors sweating and yelling, no masks. There is a reason why Church is closed, people singing together spreads germs. What the hell do you think is happening at the protests.

Again I am not talking about looting. They are criminals and trash. The overwhelming majority of people are peaceful protestors, but what about COVID and the shaming.

This is why no one takes the media serious and sports media was an escape, yet when Favre had that post and I listened to the podcast, they were shaming people who wanted to go to a ball game for they were going to kill grandma with the virus.

I understand going to a ballgame and going to protest are two different priorities, but the virus does not pick it. These people can still spread to grandma.

I have missed funerals of loved ones who have passed during this time to give last respects due to Covid Rules and I am sure many on here have as well and then I see the Mayor of LA kneeling with hundreds of people without a mask to Virtue Signal. Two weeks ago you could not go to the beach on dry sand or wet sand or whatever.

Its all disgusting.


Sorry for rant, it hits hard cause I like Mac and think he is a good person and thought with his problems in the past(we all have them) he would be the last to Virtue Signal, yet here he is doing it on social media.

And yes I am against racsim and and bad cops, I have voted democrat my whole life. Cannot stand Trump, but unless people vote in Novemeber this will be all for nothing.

Also, let others have opinions!!!! I dont agree with what Drew Brees said, he tried to check all the boxes if you listen to it.

I hope people realize that social media, twitter, protests probably represent maybe 2 percent of the country.

I fear we are setting up 4 more years of Trump.

Public protests on far reaching, societally fundamental issues are more important than sheltering. Going out to get a haircut is not.

You should have gone to the funerals if the people were as dear to you as you indicate. No one would have stopped you

Got it. I get the cynicism. There are liberals who are moderates. I see people going to far in my opinion. But fair point
