If one didn't know any better it would seem that Parkins/Bernstein have received orders to begin toning down the SJW twitter feeding frenzy. First Parkins opines on Julie's column, then they have a comedian on to discuss the issue, and then they begin talking about getting off social media? Parkins has not really shown himself to be a one that is capable of many original thoughts, so there must be a concerted effort from the Dems to tone this down in anticipation of Biden winning, uncle joe is likely to provide ample fodder for the twitterverse to find offense with and will misspeak/mispronounce things often, it's an unavoidable problem given his age and the nature of the position he aspires to fill. If one were to look at the posts on democratic thought generation sites, you would likely find columns or explicit instructions for the dutiful foot soldiers instructing them how to begin to attempt to shape public opinion.

Uncle Joe’s mis-speaks? The Gropenfuerher can’t complete a single sentence without it including a lie or series non-sequiters.

I've managed to get everything I need from 670 in about 30 minutes a week. I go to the podcast section and find Brad Biggs and Michael Lombardi. Only other time I will turn it on is if the Bears lose to listen to fans yell and scream. Other than that the station is dull.

The Bulls fired him about 12 or 13 years ago.

Not sure what's worse...ah forget it, way too easy. All it takes is a few clicks of the mouse to find the marching orders. If you google the phrase, "It's time to cancel cancel culture", you will find tons of op-eds/articles repeating the exact same phrase. The lack of original thought is astounding, but the lack of intellectual curiosity displayed by posters here reveals quite a bit about the lack of critical thought within the media industry.

Well, it's not really tough to think of that phrase. The phrase writes itself, so to speak.

Sorry to have embarrassed you, but already knew the answer before the question was asked, just trying to gauge the board for fun and a couple of goofs took the bait as always.

Ahh, but that's where you are wrong, on the contrary if you ask a random group of humans what color the sky is that day they will likely give you a multitude of answers, when you see the exact same phrase repeated verbatim your spidey senses should begin tingling.

Hate to break it to some of our more malleable board members, but sports talk radio guys are not exactly fountains of original thought, they just dutifully repeat what they are told, usually by team/league sources, but when they delve into politics the thoughts they are regurgitating are often easily traced back to political content thought generation sites. If you know enough about how the sausage is made you know exactly what sites or phrases to google in order to find out where the "thoughts" came from.

"Cancel cancel culture" is the same as the White Sux and the Flubbies. It's a Mike Hunt prank phone call.

I generally agree with your point but this is a pisspoor example.
