these guys have dug their own grave...1000 hasn't laid off any one to my knowledege throughout covid...WAKE UP CALL --- WOKE PEOPLE DO NOT LISTEN TO TERRESTRIAL RADIO...the only host i am not 100% OUT on is haugh...everyone else can mop the floor of the State Street Studios...literally every personality (including black and abdullah) is more entertaining than woke mully, woke bernsie/loho/parko monologues...

The station desperately needs a real shake up of the hosts.

I don't think that the hosts or being too woke are at the core of the issues. Both hurt the ratings, but there are fatal flaws much worse than those there.

Going with the unproved "smart fans station" hastened the trip toward irrelevance, but when a majority of your advertisers cannot do business as usual your primary source of revenue is gone.

Would not be surprised if station runs network programming all day and the only local stuff is Bulls/Cubs pre/post/play by play.

Would seem there is still a market, albeit 40-50 plus market, that still may consume lighter sports talk, but there is really no one currently at the station that is capable of producing that type of product.

Important decision point: what does the Score want to make? Do they want to produce live and local sports radio, or do they want to produce sports podcasts that also happen to air live and locally over the airwaves?

Kevin and the other producer (Cubs fan guy) forgot his name. Carried the 5 at 5 in the morning. Now that show sucks with Mully and Haugh doing some stupid pick 6 segment.

I cut that show down to 5 minutes in the morning to see what I missed from the night before.

Good, maybe the radio industry will go back to smaller businesses and not have to kiss liberal ass all day.

Dziepak had the talent to be an everyday host and the social-media trolling savvy to bring the station into the present. He's a victim of bad timing across the board -- his act would have been perfect were the Score still the Sox station.
