Bit of revisionist history with CHUSE going on here. Willing participant in arguments for sure, but a net positive poster and most sections were generally better with him as a regular...even if Phish sucks :wink:

I don't generally have an issue with the way anyone posts. Everyone brings something unique to the community. Chus' diva/victim act at the end annoyed the hell out of me for the reasons I mentioned earlier. Then the guy spent 5 years logging in just to read the politics section and supposedly not posting. He really wanted to lean into being a victim.

I still talk with him every so often and have always thought very highly of him. Irl he’s a pretty good guy. But I also didn’t bother following some of the arguments he had. Even IMU who I grew to like.

There are the obvious cliques and the not so obvious ones. Like the black community when Jussie said he was attacked by Nigerian MAGA's, sometimes we show our support by what we don't say. Our silence was our support. Chus was in the liberal and anti BigFan cliques. I'm probably missing a couple more.
