He really sounds like he has matured and seems at peace. It was a good listen.

Ashley Madison ?

It was part of the Score's 30th anniversary celebration in which key former employees are appearing periodically (North & Jigs were on previously). Based on his comments, it sounds like Drinky has become a family-focused man with perhaps a touch of spirituality. He basically acknowledged that he wasn't happy with his former self and offered some mea culpas.

Was drinky the one who was a Moody Bible guy at one point before the Score, or am I thinking of someone else?

Not sure if it was Moody Bible but he was studying to be a priest at one point.

Not a priest. He was part of some very small demographic of religious and of Italian heritage but not Roman Catholic.

Good for drinky. I always liked the guy.

When asked what he regrets most about working with Murph, Matt said he wished he could have learned more from him in the 2+ years, because Murph was "great at radio" from a skill and creative standpoint, but Murph's personality didn't allow that to happen.

I always liked him. In the time I was listening to the score regularly I’d put him in the top 5 people on the air.

His disdain for Bernstein was fantastic.

Matt Abbatacola - Former longtime producer (along with Jason Goff) for Boers and Bernstein. He was portrayed as a bit of a gadabout which was an endless source of fodder for the show (and to some extent on this board). As Antioch noted, he was also known for his battles with Bernstein - often revolving around Dan's personality. After many years, and despite a number of guest-hosting opportunities, he came to the realization that he was never going to become more than a producer. That seemed to frustrate him, and when Parkins was brought in from KC I think that pushed him over the edge and he decided to move on.

AH yes! Of course Matty! I do remember him, he was in the heyday of B&B. I didn't know if his arguments with Dan was genuine or radio schtick. He was good on the show.

Still believe the best score program ever was B&B in the early 2000s.

The worst score show was Bernstein and Goff and anything Mike North which proves those too far to each side kinda meet together.

North probably wins. Nothing was worse than a big game getting done and hearing about Mike North's story for an hour that has absolutely nothing to do with the game or sports.

He was the worst.

Other on air personalities have told of drinkys run ins w Murph thru the years.

But drinky saw that Murph was a true professional and ran a tight ship and expected 110% from his staff. Maybe if drinky was a bit older he could have stuck it out w Murph but I understand. Generational gap. Murph was like an old school gym teacher and it didn’t mesh with younger staff.
