A bit of breaking Bears roster news yesterday, so popped over for a second while out in the car to see if maybe they had Thayer or someone who knew about football on to talk about the roster moves.

Unfortunately got about 30 seconds of Lil' Dany Parkins stumbling and bumbling around trying to explain the Leatherwood signing, it was readily apparent that Parkins had no idea what he was talking about, quickly PTFB, and did find at least competent Bears talk with Waddle.

Not sure how the station can continue to tout themselves as the smart fans station at this point. Then again, the long-time listeners know that the smart fans crap is all BS and that even though the current hosts rip and belittle guys like Mac and North, those two guys could be picked up at Shady Acres today and still do better Bears talk than anyone on the current roster.

P & S have sunk even lower in credibility after the embarrassing Cubs first pitch fiasco. These 2 non-athlete mopes sniping at former NFL QB Boomer Esiason who played multiple sports will be the height of absurdity.

When Boomer Esiason is on like yesterday there's a running gag of how better BE gets treated by Audacy than Parkins. BE gets his co-host flown in. Parkins has a mickey mouse football podcast that's difficult to even find on the app. The more revenue and press BE generates for the company than Parkins both hosts in major markets must be substantial.

Is there a more useless guest than Lance Briggs?

They were also talking about Halloween Costumes and Speigs was talking about having a Nixon mask and his friends dressed up as the Secret Service, and my only thought was, "Speigs seems more like a Taft guy..."
