You know he's gonna have the "Fields is great, everybody is racist" thought. It just goes without saying. He'll say it in front of Spiegel. Spiegel will not agree but have to shut up and nod his head. Cuz, you know, that's what you have to do now-a-days if your a cracker at THE SCORE. Otherwise Spiegel will be dubbed a racist by Goff and Larry and Spiegel knows that.

No doubt in my mind Goff still hates Spiegel by the way. Spiegel also knows this.

If Goff is on, there is absolutely no reason to listen.
And the transition with Larry will be mind numbingly stupid.
Larry will dial up his black voice. Instead of his very slow speaking white sounding voice.

I love Goff. Despite some of his misplaced thoughts, he's the most entertaining host the Score has ever had.

Maybe. I was new to sports radio, but it appeared the PC era did him in. Sports radio should have an edge to it. That's how guys talk in a bar or amongst friends. It's not usually personal.

Bernstein's blending of sports geek with sophomore humor worked, too. Now, we're left with dad jokes and mediocre sports analysis.

From what I recall he grew up okay. Had a brother or uncle that was a cop playing a big part in his life. Seemed funny until he left producing B&B. Did he have some big changing event? Or just evolved?

Goff was great as the third wheel in the BnB days. He is talented as someone local who loves sports and can be funny. He just let social issues and arrogance get in the way of what was a great backstory and a good start to his career.

No one ever in Chicago sports media is more despised than Jason Goff

Goff said that he's been told he talks too much and interrupts people. Immediately after he said this he interrupted Spiegel and rambled on for a few minutes about something.

It was actually how guys cheat on their wives and restaurant people are trained not to say "Nice to see you again" because it could be the husband cheating on the wife. And a red flag would go up if the wife heard that and she had never been to the restaurant. Then he talked about how some wives are cool with their husband banging other bitches. Then he said some guys aren't meant to be married. Stopped himself in his tracks and said "I ain't talking about myself." I kind of laughed cuz that's who he was talking about. Hasn't Goff been engaged for a total of 20 years with two different girls? But never married? Or did I miss him getting married to this new one?

Anyway, it was him ripping on Spiegel for much of what I caught. Spiegel just smiled and laughed not wanting to stand up for himself. Cuz he was never able to talk much with Goff there.

Goff is still the same strange and odd bird we've always known.

He is a football ignoramus.
