and it's like i'm sayin' this is just my opinion. i'm not gonna tell people to stop rooting for tiger or whatever. i'm just conflicted right now. and felt like ranting about it a bit...but i wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people started feeling that same way, as obvious as it is when you are disappointed by something.

it would be like finding out darkside is white.

A very big leap, and a reach, to say the least.

I have never been a big fan of Tiger, but I don't get why people would stop rooting for him based on this stuff. So we find out he is messed up? All of us are messed up.

No...not all of us are messed up. RFDC...Are you messed up like Tiger is messed up?

Yeah actually all of us are messed up. If you don't want to admit it, thats fine with me, matters not to me. But that does not change that fact that all of us are messed up to some degree or another.

i have a feeling some of this was driven by his father's death. or at least, that would be some of his excuse. i get the feeling he wouldn't have tried this when his dad was alive. i guess that would fall apart if these go back to before '06 but i haven't read enough about it to know how far they go back (if that's been revealed yet).

bottom line: he's seen as a role model.
BS...A role model for who? If Tiger continues to dominate this will all be a distant memory. If this screws up his head then it's another story. But even as a cautionary tale, I don't think anyone will take heed.

Scorehead, do you wear a blindfold after you pay your old lady for sex with a fistful of hundreds so you don't have to "SEE IT"?

Your holier than thou attitude is too transparent....

You have to be in Wu Tang to make my signature. Looks like ASFB just threw that W up.

I am an avid golfer and follow the PGA Tour pretty regularly.
While I am dissapointed in Woods' actions, I will continue to
root for the guy to win majors and play golf at its highest
levels. To me it is fun to see the game being played the way
it is supposed to be, and how most of us wish we could play it.

I realize people don't like the guy personally, and that is ok
with me. His life as a celebrity was and is an open book, it
is only now that we are getting to actually read some of the
pages and footnotes in that book. Have I lost respect for Tiger
as a man? You bet. As a golfer? We'll let his play speak for
itself. I can only assume it will be difficult for him to get out there
and play again but if anyone can shake this type of thing off and
plow forward, it will be Tiger. I only hope that Tiger's wife can pull
herself together and move forward, she seems like a nice lady and
genuinely blindsided by this whole thing.

I know this is a dumb question but what exactly has Tiger done?

He's cheated on his wife. He's probably going to get a divorce. He had a domestic violence episode where he wasn't at fault. He may have taken some prescription pills.

He's basically become a rich white guy.

Almost nothing can be worse than being accused of RAPE! Tiger is wrong for what he did but he would never potentially go to jail for it.

You call that crumbling?!?
Sounds like an average weekend in Vegas (not including Bulldog Scott) .

To paraphrase T.O.'s publicist, Tiger has a Billion (soon to be around $950 million) reasons to live out a long and happy life.
Once the free swinging Swede is done cashing out his twat fund, he'll be back on the road with Nantz & Daily free to chase any piece of white ass that looks good to him.

he was accused but she didn't testify and it was pretty clear she wasn't raped. she just wanted attention.

I agree but that's why I used the word potentially.

I heard that Tiger often would pay a hooker for sexual escapades.....and then murdered them. Needless to say, he's a serial killer.
