Hey Danny, what did you do to piss off B&B's Barbecue Man. He called TSN Radio this morning while thr topic was about the play Tiger Woods was getting in the media. He brought up your name saying that you need to have your backyard cleaned up before talking about Tiger. He also called you a hypocrite. What's his deal ? Is he jealous of your skills with the Kingsfords ?

The Barbecue Man is a dildo. My friends got married a couple of summers ago, and they hired this guy to do a pig roast for their outdoor reception. They showed up with everything cooked ahead of time, but just piled everything up on a table. Nothing was labeled. They didn't even set up the plates and utensils. They were rude, walked around with frowns on their faces, and left as quickly as they possibly could. Two people are celebrating the happiest day of their lives, and the BM and his wife look like they are at a funeral.

Wow  They may need to re-examine their business plan and have it include customer service. Only thing I can think of is that they had a busy day and a rigid schedule. If not, that's just lame. :(

Note to self: Do it myself.

I have never been very impressed with the Bar B Q man. Seen the guy on CLTV and wasn't impresssed with his setup at all.

Maybe he has upgraded since then, but had a bad setup in his backyard. Felt like the guy was a scam if he had 1 bad grill and nothing else outside.

This is the most fantastically random story of all time. The BBQ Man on TSN fires on Dan McNeil in a discussion about Tiger Woods. Hilarious.

I heard this too this morning. Kinda surprised that he just threw out Mac's name like that.

This is both funny and disturbing to me. The random part of it cracks me up, too. The disturbing part is I don't appreciate being slandered. Seditious, malicious comments that lack the merit of being true can be very expensive to the one who opened his pie hole. I hope BBQ man's pockets are as deep as his cavernous stomach. And I doubt there was a talk show host in Chicago who was less interesed in discussing Tiger Woods' fall than I was. It will be difficult for any of the 50 weeks remaining in 2010 to top the weirdness of this one.

The BBQ Man is probably put off that Mac has never had him on his show, or never asked to work the grills at the annual Cubs/Sox Tailgate that Mackey used to preside over at US Comiscular Field.

Why was the BBQ man even on the radio in mid-January? Not exactly peak BBQing season.

Maybe the B-man should stick to "slathered" as in sauce on ribs.

What a gelatinous pus-bag ... it was already PTFBASAP radio when that sausage-sucker came on B&B - however, I was generally impressed with how steady he kept his voice during his perfunctory visits whist Bernstiein's tongue was darting in and out so quickly and firmly.

I hope the prick trips and falls into a large sty at a private pig farm.

Easy there, Mac. He sounds like a jerk, but that's not slander.

This is a good thing. That means Mac can fire away at BBQ Man and not have to worry about frivolous slander suits himself. That would be far more entertaining IMO.
PS: who is BBQ Man?

Why should Mac give a shit about what some two bit hack says about him on CLTV?

I could get more listeners screaming at Ontario and Wells.
