Seriously, the only thing that movie is good for is reminding everyone why Paul Rudd is ONLY good in a supporting role.

Its fucking awful, not at all funny and definitely not worthy of being on any top ten comedy list for the year, let alone the decade.

Yeah i didnt care for it much myself. I thought the movie was almost depressing at times. A much better Paul Rudd movie is Role Models.

It's stuff like this that drove me to listen to podcast-only for Danny Mac (and Silvy and Waddle for live listening). When Mac starts going on about his list of guys he'd do or about watching dreck like 'I Love You Man' or 'Little Miss Sunshine' while having his period, you can just skip ahead a few minute-at-a-time clicks.

The chat used to be a minor, mostly-innuendo-only part of the show. Now it's taken over and made the show rather a strange (not uncomfortable, not funny, just odd. like Gallagher, or a hipster who wears camouflage because he doesn't want to be 'scene') listen when the topic veers from Chicago sports (and sometimes even when discussing sports).

Even on the podcast you sometimes aren't quick enough with the advance button and you catch Mac talking about going over and going down on Spiegs in the studio (in reference to removing popcorn or something). It's like, wth?that's not funny, it's just

I liked it.

phil, i don't know how you'd call "i louve you man" a chick flick. peter klaven's (paul rudd's character) fiance is a controlling bitch who embodies what men DON'T like about women.

as for "little miss sunshine".... it lost to "the departed" for best film at the oscars. somebody other than me must have liked it, too. the girl was nominated, as well as alan arkin.

Wait, nobody else liked "Little Miss Sunshine"? That's a great movie! The grandpa is the best ("Here's some advice: F--- all the girls you can!").

It's a good quirky movie along the lines of Juno, Lost in Translation, etc.

I guess I didn't mean chick flick in that it was aimed at a primarily female audience I just meant that the movie focused too much on Paul Rudd's emotions and I found myself getting bored. All that being said any part that refrenced Rush was cool. Still a bad movie though.

It was alright. I laughed as many times as I did watching The Hangover and that movie was the funniest movie ever filmed...

I saw this flick last year after my old man died. All I wanted to do was laugh out loud about five times, and I would have been SOOO f'n happy for that release.

I enjoyed the billboard part at the end, and some of the early scenes - but man alive the movie dragged in the middle.

Best way to describe this movie to someone.
