You're going to find it hard to avoid him in a few minutes...

Yeah, thats fine. And I'm in the minority, but I really don't care. I took up golf last summer and very much enjoy it. I can also watch it for a few hours and greatly appreciate it, but I really don't care if Tiger is playing or not. I also don't care who he's fucking or who he has fucked. I'd honestly rather hear more breakdown of how Cutler's INTs weren't the WRs fault, or how rededicated Zambrano and Jenks are this spring training.

I like watching Tiger golf. Actually the only time I will watch golf is if he's playing, but like Frank said, who cares where he puts his dick...

"good show" and "Lawrence Holmes" don't belong in the same post on this board, apparently...

I hear all of you guys loud and clear. And I'm with you on much of this stuff. I promise you there are many times when "stories" I know I have to cover make my brain hurt. Steroids are high on that list. Hall of Fame (pick a sport) debates are high, too. Talking about "little Tiger" since November has been painful as well. I bet if yesterday's "news conference" would have been in May or June... it wouldn't have garnered a fraction of the attention it got Friday. When Olympics chatter appears high on the menu.... you know we're in the sports abyss. The one thing addiction radio did well for me was help "recover" from Thursday's NBA trades.

Here we go again.

Steroids, Hall of Fame, Tiger talk--no good.
NBA--only good for under bets and rooting for turnovers.
Olympics--the "abyss."
John Wall--who's he?
Daily baseball analysis in summer--"tedious."

Why didn't you just do gas pump talk for 4 hours yesterday? It's your show. Jesus Christ, do yourself (and us) a favor and get a job with the NFL Network so you can talk your beloved NFL 24/365. Sorry all ths other stuff that sports fans talk about is so painful for you.

As you may have seen, Pappy's Crappy, I am not alone in finding a couple of the winter's annual "staples" a snooze. I will make no apologies for doing "guy talk," either. Cap'n Crunch. Movies. Gas station travails (look it up). Some of us get out once in awhile and enjoy discussing things that happen in life. You should try it. ;-)

I would've really liked to have heard "The Goose" talking about life last night at the B&B roast.

It was good to see Ron. Didn't always agree with the man... but he and I usually worked through differences well and I found him to be a pretty decent barmate. For a broadcast executive, anyway.

Mac, as I am sure you have seen around here, it would not matter what you said or did there is a group of folks, Pappy's Crappy included, that will not like it and criticize you over it.
