We're headed to Indiana for a couple of Place bets. I assume it's Indiana. Hoosier Park. Who would claim Hoosier-dom if they didn't have to? |

What the hell kind of betting sport is this? I bet to win $500 now it is down to $250. Is this a mafioso thing? I always assume horse racing was on the up and up. No drugs, no controversy, etc. |

I think I'm moving the odds. They didn't expect a billionaire from Kenilworth to put $10 on an exacta in Indiana. He must know something. |

Keep an eye out for bridgejumpers at Chuck Town. You get a minimum 10 cents on the buck in West Virginia so you'll see guys crush the show pools. Occasionally, you can bet $500 to show on the favorite and $25 to show on everyone else and put yourself in a no lose position. |

Just won another $7 in the land of sister-kissing. |

Alright, I put a legit bet on the 5 horse in the 9th at Yonkers. Enough of this $2 win crap. |

I like that they just announce that somebody is "in the pocket" on the PA. They don't even try to disguise that jockeys are on the take. But, it's cool. I won my bet at Yonkers. Made up for a few losses. |

This "sport" sucks. How can you be the odds-on heavy favorite and finish last? I'm done. Until about 2am when I wake up. I assume they have horses in Saudi Arabia. |

I will grant that I can see how someone can just take $100 and kill a good chunk of the day placing low stake bets. That has a certain draw to it. I don't even know what I'm doing and I haven't even lost half my money yet. It has a certain draw to the immediate gratification of the texting, young people, TikTok crowd that can only focus on things that take less than 3 minutes. |

South African turf racing is fun to watch. It’s like watching guys cover ground in WWI to get to the next base camp. I lost an exacta by “a diminishing short head”. That felt like an exceptionally cruel way for them to describe my failure. |

Hey, turns out I did win that Exacta in Cape Town! No diminishing short head here!!! |

All this talk of Stud Farms is making me feel a little uncomfortable. But, also…somewhat curious. |

Why does it take longer for the results to come in officially than it takes for the race itself? Is Rocco in the booth checking the video from a “particular perspective”? |

SA racing is not as fun as AUS racing but sometimes the payouts are insane. Wait til you get into quarterhorse racing…quickest way to lose more money. |

I just bet a quinella in France. I decided to look up the origin of the word based off "quin" which is actually an Irish orgin that is exactly based on my real surname. I think I should only bet quinellas from now on. |

It just feels uncomfortable to hear a German guy announce a race in English. I feel like he wants to ask for my papers if I am a "vinner". |

Won 15 bucks on a quinella in Farjestad. I assume that's a real place. |

Alright, going back to the well in Farjestad. Jonathan Bank A.B. is 7/1. I love Breaking Bad. How can I not throw $3 bucks on that horse? He opened at 9/1. I continue to move the odds all over the world. |
