Yess!!!! Came in easy Coast.

I've got a nice cushion. I also had Kansas. They escaped a 3 at the buzzer to cover.

Xavier outscored them by 21 in the 2nd half. That's the game Coast thought it would be. He didn't figure they'd be down by 9 at the half. Doesn't matter. Nice call Coast.

Is Coast by any chance friends with Ed Hightower?

We've met

I have Kentucky under 130 and Purdue over 140 this afternoon. Don't recommend playing that purdue over now; it's shot to 146. Like Wisky over 133.5 tonight, but not at the current 137. Got USC -3 and Zona +2 for smaller tonight.

Horrible effort from Kent St., just a joke. They score 10 points in the first half, no excuse for shit like that.

Baylor +3 L - stupid underestimating how great that Illini squad was
UNLV +2 W
Pitt -8.5 W

Stanford -14.5

5-2 so far so I'll keep going to keep it interesting for myself, I'll pick tonight's games.

As always, please do not use this advice for gambling purposes.

Duke -20
Arizona +2
Wisconsin -11.5
USC -3.5
ND -6.5
Winthrop +9
UCLA -32
Texas A&M -1.5

Good call on the Purdue over, you had it sealed up with about 10 minutes to go.

Pointwise likes it as a 3 rating with 1 being the best. 1-6 rating system. I like it more than they do.

LOVE Davidson -1. Gonzaga is this close purely on reputation.

Keep it rolling with Sienna +7

Three Totals for Friday. Sorry for that Wisconsin over. Fell 7 points short. I expected the Badgers to shoot better than 42% and 18% from trey against that team.

841/842 Texas-Austin Peay OVER 140, 1*
Peay will play uptempo and Texas will have no reason not to go right with them. Texas can and does play fast against fast opponents, but its pace rating is on the slow side because sometimes it will play at a grinder pace with slow opponents. Peay’s defense not good; gave up 81 to Vandy, 100 to Memphis. Texas could put up 80 on them also. Peay plays in a very weak OVC, but even so, their offense has been over 100 OE in all but a few games since Christmas. With 135 possessions and Texas likely scoring pretty easily and getting to 80, I figure we'll need Peay to get to 60. That's a number they hit in almost every game (except when they played slowballs like Samford).

821/822 Clemson-Villanova OVER 144.5, 1*
This should be a very fast, uptempo game with both teams averaging 69 possessions/game. I think Clemson is going to really dominate inside with their three big guys vs. Nova's one guy inside. While these teams had impressive defensive efficiencies overall (especially Clemson), against NCAA tourney teams they both had DEs above 100. In 9 games against NCAA tourney teams, Clemson held only one opponent in those games to under 100 OE. Nova held three of its ten opponents who are in the tourney below 100, but had a few go over 120 on them. Clemson averaged 115 OE and 105 against tourney teams. Nova averaged 103 OE overall and actually, 107 against tourney teams. Nova is going to live by the trey and their slashing guards and Clemson will have an inside outside combo. The game should have over 140 possessions and I expect both teams to be at (nova) and over 100 OE (Clem). If, as I expect, Clemson gets ahead, Nova will likely play even faster and fling up the treys or slash quickly to the hoop to try to catch up. One other factor if we need it: Nova coach Jay Wright has started foul fests very early a few times this year. One game he started fouling with over 3 minutes left. Another game there was 2:30 left. Against a horrible FT shooting team in Clemson, it wouldn't surprise me if Nova starts fouling with plenty of time left if they are even as many as 12 points behind. He's done it before. So we've got that going for us. Which is nice.

Boise-Louisville OVER 146.5, 1*
Track meet and Louisville might be able to name the score. Pitino will keep the pedal to the metal and the Cardinals might even have a shot at 100 here. Love the Ville here but would rather play the over than lay double digits.

Also on Drake -4, Drake-WKY over 140, and Arkansas-Indiana over 139 for smaller.

I've got St. Mary's at a pick for the first half. Got them for the game at a pick as well.

Ouch!! 0-4 for Pointwise to start todays action. 1-2 for me personally. The first half bet on St. Mary's saved me.

I'm down for today so far. Up a little for the tourny. I'm hitting that Florida NIT game pretty hard. It's rare Pointwise gives a 1 rating. I'll trust them.

Here is what I have for the late games.

Florida -8.5 (NIT)

Indiana -2

Clemson -6.5

Texas-Arlington +24.5

Louisville -8.5

1 for 4 yesterday = not good. Let's hope i can continue to ride Pittsburgh again to make up for a dissapointing day. Also, Marquette plus 3.5 and under 133. I hit that parlay and i'm back baby!

tough day as the three totals all just fall short. Just one small play today, Pitt -2. Should be some very good games today.

oh yeah. my little blue ball sees a dark day for the big ten. Purdue, Wisconsin and Michigan State all lose. I'm only betting the last one though.

Just to let you know how Pointwise is doing. If you are a 25 dollar unit player, Pointwise is +60 dollars after the first round plus all NIT & CBI games. I'm doing better than that. I don't follow them blindly. But I did hit Florida hard yesterday. That helped a lot.

1-4 for me today. I'm still up a little for the tourneys.

If any of you guys have any picks I'd appreciate it if you post it rather early tomorrow. Thanks. I've got to run around tomorrow for Easter.

I don't get Pointwise's picks until 9am but I'll try to get it up for any of you who are interested. They had a rough one today. So they're due for a good day tomorrow. I hope.

I see it has Georgetown as a pick, There is a couple of things going against them today. They are playing in the Carolina area, a lit of North Carolina fans there and they will remember Gtown beat them in last year's tournament, and Davidson is a good team.

[quote="shultzyy"]I have one double digit seed making it to the Sweet 16. I think Davidson (playing in their home state) can give the Hoyas fits in the second round. They would be a nice play getting points, or even better on the money line.

Even a Spartan gets it right. I had a good feeling about Davidson. This should be a lesson to all mid majors. Go on the road and play good competition in the non conference. It weorked hear. After playing Duke, UCLA, and NC; Davidson was ready for the Hoyas.

They will give Wisco fits; however in the end the Badgers will prevail.

I am curious if any of you guys have other double digit seeds in the Sweet 16 or if their is one that would be a good play with the points this weekend.
