This is hopefully a half fundraiser / half entertainment.

I'm starting with a $5 bet. I'll post some teaser odds (going with 6' for sides, 7 for totals, ties reduce) and will bet on four games a week. No betting on hometown teams. A $5 teaser will win about $12. Should we win, we will use the money for next week. If we lose, I'll re-pop for $5. I'll list the sides/totals, and then you can vote. Top picks will go into the teaser -- I will vote to break any ties. Winnings (if any) will be donated to the board's three wise men for running things. Rules are subject to change as we go along if people have fun ideas... hopefully we can roll it forward a few weeks and have some decent money going.

Yeah, easy to say now, but I felt 90% that the Packers would win today because of Earl Thomas and the lackluster offense with the Seahawks of late. I think the NFC North could come down to the last week... I'm not writing the Packers off yet. Lions play at Giants and at Cowboys, both of which could be losses. If GB beats the Vikings again, they own the tiebreaker.

The best way to play teasers is to move the point spread through 3 and 7. Play dogs of 1.5-2.5 and favorites from 7.5-8.5

Another move I like to do is look for gusty winds and take the under. The Lions/Giants being a good example this week -- once winds are over 15 MPH, they tend to keep scores down. The teaser just gives you a little extra wiggle room.

Well we pushed on the KC total, but still got $40.80 in the bank for next week with all the others winning. If I remember, I'll post the lines on Weds morning since there is a lot of holiday activity going on this weekend.
