Well, here's a race that JORR can analyze to his heart's content.

I see it being up for grabs with such a big field and with mostly unproven horses. There's a handful that could win.

No way Guest Suite stays at 6-1.

Local Hero grabs an easy lead and never looks back.

I see that being like the 8-5 favorite or something, and the Place/Show horses being at best 5-2 and 3-1.

Really? I hope not. I don't see how a horse coming off a maiden victory is going to be the favorite in here. I think Mo Town or Guest Suite has to be the favorite.

Cool Arrow will be on the pace and might never look back.

Though he got a tough post draw on the outside, I like So Conflated's giant strides at the end. Will come handy coming down the long stretch at the Fair Grounds.

Otherwise, another home town hero in Girvin is back on dirt after a short layoff. Should be in good form to contend late from his stalker position.

I won't mention the favorites, which you all know.

I would bet a lot of money that Local Hero is going to be on the front in here. I think So Conflated may be the best horse in the race but he looks to be in an impossible spot way out there in a race that doesn't look like it will have much pace. Also Mario Gutierrez doesn't help him.

Girvin and Arklow are interesting in here. I don't like Mo Town at all.

Yes, on So Conflated. Look at the two horses he beat in the California Derby---Zakaroff and More Power to Him. Zakaroff won the G3 El Camino impressively as a 45-1 shot, while More Power to Him came in second behind Zakaroff.

As long as he doesn't run like a drunk sailor, he's got a good shot. The question mark is that he's shipped in from California.

Not being a handicapper the like of those here....just reading Rube and Joe think their horses are taking the lead and game over.Well you can add Cool Arrow and It's Your Nickel so it will be a speed duel up front and fast fractions , I'm looking for Mo Town layin 4th or 5th and Guest Suite to pickup the pieces.Joe's reason he doesn't like Mo Town is it's my pick....for me it's tough to go against a Grade II winner with a Triple digit Beyer

if mena was on a better horse i'd keep an eye on him too but looks like he's got a throwaway.

JORR, i just think with geroux on the mount Local Hero will be given a nice pool. i'm expecting the odds of the favorites to be skimpy. but who knows...the biggest longshot won the derby last week.

 Get over yourself, Walt. I don't like Mo Town because he hasn't beaten anything.

We'll see in a few hours who is going to go with Local Hero. I think the pace will be very soft. But maybe not. That's why they call it a horse race.

I was going to drop by the OTB in a little bit to get down on Local Hero. But NAs PM'd me I can't agree with Jorr anymore.

No he did not. 8)

They didn't like his spot on the outside, so opted for next week's Gotham. Can't really blame them for doing that against stiff competition.

No one talking about Untrapped, yet his speed figures are really good. He could have been the best horse in the LeComte, just not in the mud that day.

On Cool Arrow, he sailed to victory his last time out, winning by at least three. And he wasn't asked to go really.
