After Caller Bob misses the cut, I'll take Spieth.

I'll go with the Aussie, Jason Day.

Ranked 3rd in the world but getting a 20-1 odds in this tournament. He's also a former #1, which he held for a year, though has not won the Masters yet.

He's going to win for his mom, who was diagnosed recently with lung cancer. She was told she had only 12 months to live, but now has gotten a better prognosis.

So like how Favre played after his Dad died, these dark times seem to bring out the best in people and athletes.

Matsuyama at 22/1 is an insane value.

It would be if you could actually get him at that number. I'm not sure where DR gets his odds, but I don't see numbers like those anywhere.

I got them from here: http://www.vegasinsider.com/golf/odds/futures/

It didn't work well copying and pasting the odds from Bovada. Day's odds are less there at 18-1.

Vegas insider isn't a betting site. I don't know where they come up with those odds. I have checked several places, and nobody has numbers like those.

That's funny, because CBS (or cbsports.com), who is doing the weekend coverage, cites Vegas insider in their article on the Masters.

Neither of those two sites take bets, nor mention where they get their odds. Why do they even bother listing odds?

Bovada does. Just click on the Golf link to see the odds come up. By clicking on one of them, you can place your bet on the right of the screen.

Though the list I posted didn't include him, I think Cabrera at 200-1 is not crazy.

He won the green jacket once in 2009 and finished 2nd in 2013.

If the weather is a factor, I would like him more, like Exaggerator.

As Augusta National wrote about Cabrera in 2014, "The Masters is a safe haven for him as he hasn’t missed a cut at Augusta since 2005 and has six career top 10s. He remains a threat any time he shows up."

He just hit a walk-off ace in the Houston Open Sunday, so he's got to be feeling good.

Bovada does, which makes sense for them to list odds. I can't figure out why CBS and VI list random odds from some unnamed place.

Here's the weather forecast for Augusta.

Looks like Caddy Shack weather Thursday and Friday.

Image

Thursday

Mostly cloudy in the morning, with winds of 15-20 mph in the 7-10 a.m. hours. Almost no chance of rain, but winds will pick up to 20-30 mph with possible occasional gusts over 40 mph from 10 a.m. through the afternoon. Temperatures in the high 50s in the morning and will rise to low 60s for afternoon.

Friday

Cooler conditions on this day. Temperature will open in high 40s and reach 50s by mid-morning. Winds will open day around 15 mph and steadily rise, reaching 20 mph by mid-morning. Temperature will move into 60s as day goes on and wind is expected to jump to 20-30 mph for afternoon until calming down to 10-15 mph by day’s end.

Saturday

Sunny all day long. Day will open with temperature in 40s, but those will climb to 70 degrees. Winds expected to calm down, blowing at 5-10 mph on this day. Ten percent chance of rain on the day.

Sunday

The most beautiful of the days. Temperatures will climb to the highs 70s and sun will shine with only light winds. Only 10 percent chance of rain on the day.

He fell down the staires in his rental home and hurt his back. That's what I get for paying that piece of crap a compliment.

Why do you feel he is a piece of crap? Because he was young and made some mistakes, kind of harsh.

I'll go with Fowler.

Also, it will be Fred Couples who gets the annual "Old-Man-Surprises-And-Gets-Hot-For-Two-Rounds-Makes-The-Front-Page-Of-The-Leaderboard-Only-To-Have-A Mediocre-Third-Round-Before-Crashing-On-Sunday" award.

Rory, though Fowler probably has a better shot.

Anyone else having trouble with Bovada?

Having not used the site for a while, my deposit with a new debit card was rejected. And apparently their customer service numbers aren't working either.

This totally sucks.

Yes, they're having troubling posting deposits tonight and their phones are jammed, but that wasn't my issue.

I did get through to find out mine is a bank restriction. Never happened before.

Unfortunately, one day is not enough time to go the Bitcoin route for deposits.

Just within the span of a few hours, Day's odds dropped to 16-1 from 18-1.
