Who do you like out there? Walt, are you still breathing?

Paradise Woods has a HUGE pace advantage in the Distaff. I expect her to go the front and improve her position from there.

I am AGAINST Unique Bella in the Filly and Mare Sprint. Tough race, but I don't like her in there at all. Bad favorite.

I'm firing on Best Performance in the Juvenile Fillies Turf.

Good luck, punters!

She wasn't right in the Kentucky Oaks. And yeah, the horse is hot as can be. But what is the other speed in there this time? Champagne Room? I don't think so. This race looks more like the Santa Anita Oaks.

I don't think that Gun Runner or Arrogate will win the Classic.

It will between Collected and West Coast. At 30-1 I would get action on Gunnevera.

i think i heard edzo go 1-5-11 in a trifecta or something...i might have the numbers mixed up. might be 11-5-1. i haven't looked at the card. but it's basically gun runner, arrogate, and collected.

He isn't boxing his trifecta bet, and I'm pretty sure the order was 5-11-1. I know Arrogate (#1) was third because he's boxing an exacta with 5-11.

Here is what he wrote on xpressbet.com about the race:

Quote:
https://www.xpressbet.com/eddie-olczyk-s-breeders-cup-picks

Eddie Olczyk’s Breeders’ Cup Picks

Breeders’ Cup Classic

#5 Gun Runner (9/5) / #11 Collected (6/1)

I’ve been an Arrogate guy since Day 1, having picked him in Xpressbet’s Travers, Breeders’ Cup and Pegasus World Cup Wager Guides. And he’d be my pick this time around too…if the Breeders’ Cup were held anywhere but Del Mar. Unfortunately, he just doesn’t get around this oval like he gets over other tracks and, at 2/1 odds, I can’t bet him here.

So with that in mind, I’ll be betting Gun Runner in the Classic. This isn’t the same version of Gun Runner that Arrogate beat in the Travers and Dubai World Cup. This version of him is grown up and much better, having reeled off blowout wins in the Stephen Foster, Whitney and Woodward. He brings a huge tactical edge to the races – he can lead or stalk – and Florent Geroux knows exactly which buttons to push with this horse. I don’t think 1 ¼-miles will be a deal breaker and his draw in the middle of the field is ideal.

I’ll also use Collected in my bets as I can see a scenario where he gets loose on the lead. The other main speed horse – West Coast – is his stablemate and I don’t think Bob Baffert wants two of his stars out there knocking heads up front. The tight turns and short stretch at Del Mar should play to frontrunners, and Collected has already run a massive race at this distance and at this track, so he’s going to be tough to pass.

i knew i had them mixed up. wouldn't pay much on a box anyway. the odds for the favorites suck. i don't think any money can really be made on that race unless you fork a lot over.

Gun Runner 0-fer at the distance. Not for me at 8/5.

Right. The odds for Arrogate and Gun Runner are too short. Arrogate does not like this track.

For me, Exacta box with Collected, West Coast and Gunnevera.

The Juv Fillies Turf looks like a wide open race. I'm going with Best Performance off that sub 29 final fraction at a buck sixteenth in her last. For me, that's a must bet at the price she's going to be even cutting back to a mile.

In the Dirt Mile I can't bet Mor Spirit off a five month layoff. That's a tough race. I like Practical Joke but the two-turn mile and the ten-hole make it hard for him. I'm gonna try Battle of Midway who may be around 25/1 and has the speed to stay close and the ability to rate behind the leaders. Hollendorfer has clearly been setting him up specifically for this race.

I think Masar will be tough to beat in the Juv Turf but I'm going to try with Catholic Boy, the only magic 29 in his race.

Elate will be nowhere near the lead in the Distaff. Paradise Woods will be all alone on the front. Champagne Room may try to push off the rail with her for a few steps but I'm gonna say Gutierrez grabs up. Elate will be chasing four or five lengths turning for home. I won't be shocked if she wins but the advantage Paradise Woods has on the front is too much for me to pass up considering what the price is likely to be. And Stellar Wind has already lost this race twice and is 0-fer the distance.

Finally, I don't know about the price, but I don't think Pretty Lady will lose in the fourth at Woodbine.

In the Mile: Sharp Azteca, Mor Spirit and Practical Joke.

Looking for a Practical Joke upset with J. Rosario riding.

Archanova and Hard Aces in the Marathon.

Well, he didn't finish last.

Anyways, I put bets on Beckford and Masar to win.

With Archanova I was going purely by the speed figures.

No, I didn't see the Argentian Infobedad running a monster, but neither did you.

I redeemed myself with Sharp Azteca in the Mile, but JORR's horse edged me out there.
