Just putting it here so it's easy to find in April

Per history of the board you should change the wording to April of 2018.

I've never had any issues with any of my wagers on here. I don't expect this to be any different. I think LTG has poor basketball thoughts but I consider him to be an honorable person.

Didn't you already have a thread for your bets with people, or did I just suggest it and you blithely ignored it? I can't remember.

I think the latter.

I think creating a quantitative model to predict MVP voting is a pretty quixotic endeavor since it's frequently driven by narrative as much as numbers. And I'm on your side on the Kyrie thing but projecting Towns as ahead of him is just insanity.

I agree with that. It’s basically the only tool I’ve found for it so as long as it’s saying what I want to hear I have no problem treating it as fact.

Don't forget about the $50 Ball bet.

Won't Curry and Durant divide the vote and finish lower than the top 5 as a result?

Rght now, Kyrie looks pretty well positioned to make the top 5.

Nah Durant is almost certainly going to finish in the top 3-4.

Barring injury there is no way he doesn't finish in the top 5. The only player in the league with more value to his team is James and even that is debatable. They have the 2nd or 3rd best record in the league and they are missing their 2nd best player. The team has difficulty scoring when he isn't on the floor. This is a lock.

Didn’t receive a single vote.

Ltg you won $50 on the Lonzo bet so I believe you owe me $50.
