Race 3- San Antonio (Grade 2)- Collected will be the heavy favorite here and he should be. But there figures to be a hot pace and I don't like Collected's last work. Also, his goal is obviously the Pegasus next month. I won't be surprised if he falters late. There are some logical horses to pick up the pieces if he does. Hoppertunity could easily win this. But I'll likely be trying Giant Expectations at a huge price. Race 6- Mathis Brothers Mile (Grade 2)- This race should set up perfectly for Big Score. At 3-1 or better I will be firing. Race 7- La Brea (Grade 1)- I'm looking for a total pace meltdown in this one with Mopotism sweeping by them all. Race 8- Malibu (Grade 1)- I think Pavel is a real top horse and this race should set up very well for him and his running style. Good luck out there! |
