Maximum Security is clearly the favorite and has the stats to back him up, but Spun To Run's last performance is best in the field. Could he be for real at 8-1? He would be inexpensive at that price, and you'd have a legit shot.

Improbable is coming in in good form. Or was it the cocktail? Not sure he will thrive at the distance, though.

What a pathetic field for a $1 million purse race. What gives with this three-year old crop? Where's Vekoma, Omaha Beach, Sir Winston, Code of Honor, Roadster, etc.?

Maximum Security was scratched from this race like 4 days ago.

Brisnet could have done us the favor and taken it off the digital files or the PPs.

I don't think Improbable will win. It will be between Spun to Run and Mr. Money coming late.

I don't bet 25% takeout pools.

That was a hell of a maiden 16 claimer that Maximum Security an Math Wizard came out of. What is the horse that finished second doing?

Once Spun to Run bashed his head against the door in the gate, I knew it was over for him. Those assistant starters are supposed to keep the horses' heads steady, but that starter didn't do his job. Never should have happened. The horse still ran well against those other top horses to be in the pack at the wire.

I did like Math Wizard a couple of races back and then he fell out of form.
