Realistically, I think Medina Spirit is 3/2 shot in this race, so the way I play, if he's 5/2 he's the bet. I don't think I can bet him at 5/2 on principle, but if he's 3/1 or better principle may go right out the window.

Crowded Trade looks to get a fantastic set up in this race, he has to improve to win it though and I'm not sure he wants 9 furlongs let alone 9 and a half.

Midnight Bourbon may be the play here. I think 5/1 is a little short but I'm guessing you'll get more at post time.

Keepmeinmind had a huge race in the Derby, came home faster than any of them. He's trained by a bigger cheater than Baffert. Stands a good chance of hitting the ticket at a huge number.

Fight now I'm more concerned if Joao Moreira can get the 4 home

Nothing like a little Sha Tin action to get the day started right!

I like Concert Tour in this one.

Unbridled Honor also looks interesting.

After perusing the card me thinks it will be a Rosario kinda day

Can't bet on Medina Spirit, and I don't think Concert Tour will get the distance, so I'm looking at two horses, across the board coming late...the other big cheater's 2-Keepmeinmind will be closing well on a fast pace upfront and the 7-France G de Ina is bred to run all day. Will pay very well for 2nd or 3rd.

In the 8th Race the heavy favorite has scratched (Outador)...I like the 6-Azrak to sneak in from Tampa with Daniel Centeno aboard at very nice price. Love the fact that his last two had some trip issues and now gets Lasix back.

$80-ish? Besides that bet how much did you invest in the race?

That horse would have been my second to last use. Ram would have been last. He crawled from Golden Gate to a Preakness win.

Interesting how suddenly none of Baffert's "Horses of a Lifetime" have any pop. Even Hozier in what looked like a walkover in the first race.

Medina Spirit looked cripped in the post parade. He actually ran better than I expected. I never even thought he would make the front.

Paid $81. A $3 bet on Medina Spirit for my sister and a $1 exacta box with Medina Spirit and Concert Tour.

My model had it Medina Spirit, Concert Tour, Crowded Trade and Rombauer. I didn't like Crowded Trade's recent form and the betting was favoring Midnight Bourbon, so in the end I swapped Midnight Bourbon for Crowded Trade in the tri-box. Eddie O gave me confidence in Rombauer when he said he looked phenomenal on the telecast. I also had watched some video of him. That's how it went down.

Ok Rube. I just wondered if you were the type to place so many bets that your win was overwhelmed by the total investment. It was a nice tri, but you had the two favorites and boxed four, so not overly exciting.

I remember you saying you hit a tri-fecta after the fact not too long ago.

I see nothing wrong with saying if you had it for a Triple Crown Race, if you did.
