Today there is a solid one New Orleans...The Lecomte Stakes Fairgrounds Race 14 (big card today down there..14 races)

I really liked 2-Denington who I think will relish the long stretch at Fairgrounds..3-Bromely will get a nice stalking trip trailing the speed of 1-Echo Again (no relation)

2-1-3

They have not released scratches or track conditions, so....

Race 9 will be great. the 2-Banishing destroyed the field in his only race and might have been a favorite in the Lecomte..if he was looking for an easier race, this ain't it...

the 1-Silver Heist has the rail (which is huge here in this instance), he also has 1 race and 1 victory...half the field is out of Tapit...there is very little separating this group and although it short, whoever wins will still be a good price

A card player I know bred and owns part of Two Phil's. I don't mind seeing him step forward on the Derby Trail. He's got an Omaha Beach half brother and that graded stakes win really helped him out there. I think he bred the mare back to McKinzie.

Anyway, assuming the odds line up as I expect them to, I'm probably going to land on Confidence Game. He has the fastest fig at the distance and should get a good stalking trip.

In the 6th race I expect Cushee to take a step forward. I hope to get a good price.

Banishing scratched. Cast in his stall this morning. Looks like a good spot for Determinedly to me.

Let's get the day started right at Laurel with the 8 and a cold 8-7 exacta.

That was $108

Race 10 8-mobster will be a logical favorite...I think you could put a line through the 3-presided last at Keeneland and has been trading very well..also like the 2-Onasa trained by Rivelli and solid jock Loveberry...the 1 two picks for the price of 1

2-3-1-8

I have Bet MGM

like you can bet on darts. Handball. But i don't see horse racing. It never occurred to me until seeing this. Is there some reason ?

I'm not sure but I think MGM is associated with NYRA so you should be able to bet horses with the app.

maybe i just never looked and it's there. But the "live " filter shows all sports - which is how i've found darts and handball - so weird that i've never seen horses. Not that i want to bet on them. Now that i've stopped betting on Euro league basketball and stick to NBA and NFL i've been killing it. Although i think they're getting hip to the amount of scoring in the NBA, some of these o/u today are crazy. Grizz-Kings tonight is 246.5

My guess is they have it hidden because they don't make as much with you betting on horses as they do if they book your sports action.

FanDuel just merged their horse racing app with their regular app so you don’t have to have individual bank accounts on each app. It’s a nice feature because I have a bankroll on FD but my FDR app has been barren for quite some time.

I haven’t seen any other betting app do this yet.

Holy Bull and Baffert Invitational today. Who do you like?

I'm off to a good start today. Had $20 in this guy:

Holy bull I really like the 7-I'll miracolo one of four exiting the Mucho macho man, but training better than the others...boxed with the 4-cyclone mischief

No interest in the Lewis

1st at santa Anita doc Adams is the one to beat but I like the 2 bottle of smoke

Florida racing R.I.P. because of only eight entrants in the Holy Bull. Same thing with the Kitten's Joy. Pitiful!

Cyclone Mischief looks to have the speed. The only problem is he trained by Romans.

After Mott's victory with Art Collector, I might like #8 Rocket Can better and Alvarado.

Rocket can, yes he can. Mott owns GP.

As predicted, Romans laid a goose egg again.

In the Withers I may take a crack with General Banker.

In the Davis, I think Laver is a nice developing horse in a very good spot. Rusty Arnold is a good square guy.

The Golden Gate race is interesting. Baffert NEVER puts anything in this race. It seems his strategy is to kill as many Derby points as possible to keep the bar low for if/when he has to transfer his colts. Anyway, I'm against both of his rats. Steve Sherman's horse looks strong.

Best race of the day is the Suncoast. I'm looking for a big upset in that one. I don't think this race is an imperative for Wonder Wheel or Julia Shining. Taking a look at the 4 and 7.

I don't believe Dubyuhnell's speed figures in the Remsen in the mud. Slow time fractions and overall time.

I'm looking at Prairie Hawk, Dreaming of Kona and Classic Legacy for the Sammy Davis. With Mott, Classic Legacy is probably the best horse in the field.

No reason not to go to the well one more time with Alvarado and Mott.

With seven horses in the Withers, WGAF.

Not that interested in te Wither's, although I agree with you Walt with Hit Show...in the Davis I like Litigate and have boxed him with all in the exacta expecting a big price for the top two

Meanwhile, I've been focusing my budget and energy on P5's...at Fairgrounds the takeout is only 15% and it makes a difference...far better then either the P4 or Jackpot P6 (which is BS)..hit the late P5 yesterday at SA paid $3K :D

Late p5 Gulfstream
5, 6 / 1, 4, 10 / 3, 6, 8 / 3, 5, 8 / 5, 11 $54

Early P5 Santa Anita
1, 3, 5, 7 / 1, 2, 6, 7 / 1, 4, 5 / 2, 5, 6 / 1, 6 $144

Late P5 Santa Anita
1, 9, 10 / 1, 7 / 4, 5, 7 / 4, 7, 10 / 2, 8, 10 $81

Fairgrounds early P5
4, 5 / 1, 2, 3 / 3 / 4, 5, 6 / 2, 3, 5, 7 $36

Still working on late P5 at FG

Let's make some $$$

Classic Car Wash is the most legit Derby horse I saw today.

Classic Legacy would have gotten there, had it not been for the mud and the wide trip around the far turn.

If you look at the replay, the lane that Classic Legacy was in down the stretch had sitting water. It was slop, whereas the insider part of the track was drier.

Just bad luck that he had to be in that lane, which was the jockey's fault, Alvarado. Don't run your horse in the quicksand, dummy.

Pick 5's

Santa Anita early
2, 3 / 4, 5 / 2, 7 / 2, 3, 5 / 1, 2, 4, 8 $48

Late
1, 2, 3, 5 / 2, 4, 5, 8 / 1, 3, 4 / 4, 5 / 3, 4 $96

Gulfstream Late Pick 5
1, 3, 10 / 4, 11 / 1, 5 / 1, 6, 7 / 3, 5, 6 $54

And as an aside, I hope the Philly fans saved some of that grease for what Andy Reid is going to do to them in the 4th Qtr

Risen Star- Sun Thunder and Crupi both live at big prices. Going against the Cox Army in this one.

Big upset for OTE's man in the Rachel Alexandra. DOWN GOES HOOSIER PHILLY!

This is a tough one in the Risen Star. Completely open, bettors' race.

I like Two Phil's, Curly Jack and Harlocap. Harlocap looks like he could run all day.

Two Phil's has the speed, but it's a question of whether he can last to get 1 1/8 mi. I like the his Hard Spun sireship.

Though I recognize Crupi might run past them all. The negatives for him are that he hasn't been in any big races and this race is not at Aqueduct.

The Risen Star produced the 2nd and 3rd place finisher's in last years Derby...in 2019 it was won by War of Will who went on to win the Derby and Preakness...14 horses will give us the first taste of how these guys will fare in a crowded field...still working on the card...

Race 5 will be terrific with with the 3-Ocean City half brother to Jackie's warrior...the 1-First Mission is working lights out in the AM but I'm starting to doubt Saez as a jock...the 6-Quaternion has a 2nd place at FG at this distance facing a lot of firsters

alive to 4,5,11/2,4,9/1,3,5,6 in a chalky start to the early P5
