Race 11 the 7-Hang The Moon has the pedigree, and trainer Stidham has this one wound up more than usual...Gafflione seals the deal 18-1 WPS bet (included in my Pick 5 ticket as well)...turf speed comparable with the favorites

Packed day and then a three hour drive to farmland WI (next county east from Deni$) so no time to settle in and study. So I grabbed your selection and Madam Genius and I watched the race in the car, hootin and hollering all the way. Thank you :salut:

In the Preakness not leaving Mage off my p5 ticket, but I really like the 6-Perform...his trainer and owner had to pay 150K just to enter...they are not fucking around...if its good enough for Shug, good enough for me (at a price of course)

Race 10 3-Artimus City Limits, good price at 5/2
Race 11 3 Three Over Dueces (nice price) and the 7 Nakatomi 5/2
Race 12 3 Western Yarn huge price and trainer Delacour numbers are nuts in this spot

Maybe Mage will win, but the price is terrible. Casual bettors getting sucked in by the Kentucky Derby.

It was a strange board. The 2 and the 4 were WAY overbet in the Win pool so there should have been value somewhere, but there really wasn't. Maybe National Treasure and Blazing Sevens were the value.

It really should have been a no bet situation for the way I play, but coming off my bonanza on Derby Day I figured I could splurge a little just to have some action. I went for Blazing Sevens and I thought he was gonna get it done but Johnny V outrode Irad down the stretch. I really dislike Irad so I didn't even mind losing too much when he tried to come over to intimidate National Treasure and Johnny leaned right back into him.

There was something off about that race. Mage should have had a shorter price (like 1-1) not 8-5 after the scratch of First Mission.

Instead, he's discounted, as if the public knew something was wrong.

He was bet the way he should have been in most of the gimmicks and multis. I would think the smarter money is in the more complex pools. The Win pool for a race like this was giant. I thought Mage was probably overlaid in the Win pool and came close to making a big bet on him. Ultimately, I thought he was going to be up against it from a pace scenario. And he was.
