That was the best race all day. Awesome finish.

A lot of randomness today at SAR, like I said.

A 9-1 wins the last race, the $150K stakes race, and a 14-1 in the $62K OC before that.

SAR is the one place where your strategy has to be to play junk, if you have any chance at all to win.

Honestly, they shouldn't have any horse racing in Florida in July and August. That's just cruel to the horses in the heat.

Kind of a black eye for the sport.

Second Saturday:

1st Race: Fortune Seller is here to win. Jose riding for his brother-in-law.

5th Race: I don't see how you're gonna get 2/1 on Undervalued Asset, but if you do empty your bank account.

6th Race: Can Wakanaka run by all of them? Maybe.

Race 3 not a big fan of the jock aboard, but the 2-Spooky Lady cuts back after finishing 3rd at this level and should be a nice price...think the 5-Healdsburg will be bet down too far

Race 6 I think Prat gets the best trip on the 5-Bubble Rock

Chalky Late P5

3,6,7,9/1/1,2,4/6,8/1 (don't trust ether entry after their last outings and a voided claim, but Rice/Ortiz are on fire) 5,6,8

Thursday 0727...Late P5 has 46 horses running, even if Next is a single in the 8th (which he's not for me) this will pay very well....lots of losing tickets, so if you win, you win big

3, 5, 6, 7 / 6, 8, 9 / 1, 6, 7 / 2, 7 / 1, 8, 9

That motherfucker is careless as hell. He's not like Cordero who always meant to put you into the rail when he did it. This goof often just fails to control his horse.

Taking a big swing with Jake's Orchard in the first. Unheralded connections mean you're gonna get paid if he wins. This ain't like taking half of what a Rice/Ortiz critter is really worth.

Race 1 is wide open...I like how the 9-Love that Bird has been tearing it up in the morning...if they don't catch the 2YO gelding he'll pay very well

Race 3...the 3-Catskill Humor...Cox's may be even hotter than Rice right

Race 5...while the 7-Colloquy will be well bet, he hasn't run this far yet...I like the 4-Jackson Heights who was bred to run all day

It's funny that you came up with the 7th Race because that's the only race I'm interested in today. My horse is the 5- Just Call Ray. He is a little light on figs but he ate a ton of dirt last out and that was a very strong group he faced. Gafflione should have him sitting in a good spot.

in that race if they let that mf'er on the 4 walk them around I'll be pissed...your guy and the 10 better be pushing him...the 10 with Rice/Ortiz should be taking the money

I could totally see Irad getting loose with the 4 and Jose running interference for him with the favorite.

Race 6...the 5-Home for Christmas runs quite well at this distance, and has two wins and a 2nd here at the Spa...may float up from 8-1 and offer good value, even underneath...let the 7 take all the money

Race 4 the 1-Shadow Dragon ran a monster race and still got beat last out....will be the heavy favorite...the 3-Olympic Dreams has done nothing wrong lifetime (6 for 7 ITM lifetime and 1/1 at this distance)...if he stays north of 3-1 that's a good value IMHO

tough field for this next one to figure out...nice value on both the 8-Charity 1st and the 5-Run For Your Honey...the wagering is all over the place on this one when you look at the Horizontal Will Pays (saw them at the Riv in '97)
