Just started...'This isn't going to be on the podcast is it?'  I just listened to an amorphization of the CFMB cool gent and John Calloway and interviewed some famous dude who happens to be a beer and golf lover and has random thoughts on other things. I tried remembering back to Dr. Ken's references to radio and podcast type things... --Eaglo Jeff live stream: Check --Don and the Con Nascar stream: Check --1945 radio tapes for I can't remember what, pleasure?: check Let's be clear. Dr. Ken has done his research to deliver a quality product. The mic check, while incredibly entertaining, also validated the challenges of prior mediums would not happen again. So did the pre-meet and walk through of the show prior to going on air. Hey, it was good work by both. People and their thoughts are interesting. I think what would be most interesting is if Dr. Ken interviewed an approved top 20 posters for content. WWE, NBA, MLB, NFL, (why no Chus and gambling?...Chus 4 hours of material ina 1 hour show), NBA, music, local juxtaposition of Political affairs from the non beerfan varietal...and a week of Don Tiny. I wish I could remember the 2nd tier comedian guy's name in my head that ran with Merv Griffin, Hollywood Squares etc to give an idea of the potential hilarity that might ensue. Bottom line is the host knows what is up, and it is a good listen. Just rambling now folks. This purveyor of on sale inferior macro brews is off to bed. I will dream about the finer holiday fare and pick some up soon. |
