One thing I've failed to mention and I need to start including in the podcast - one thing that would be very helpful would be for listeners to go to iTunes and rate and review the podcast.

Can be a good review or bad, up to you. But, the action of rating does benefit the cast on iTunes in terms of getting recognized.

A search of "Chicago Fanatics" on iTunes should bring it up directly. If you'd like to help, a rating and/or review would be appreciated.

Thanks.

It was pretty funny listening to farmboy Dr. Ken attempt to explain the rural take on animals to his city girl wife. It was like Green Acres. No anthropomorphism for the good Doctor. He refers to poor Jingle as "it".

When I first got into the horse business I had to come to terms with some things. A guy I know, Eddie, owned a cheap filly and Dale Hiteman was driving her out of the paddock at Sportsman's Park before a race. Eddie was walking out with them and he leaned over to Hiteman and said, "Hey Dale, take it easy on her tonight, okay?" Hiteman turned to Eddie and said, "If you want a fucking pet, buy a parakeet."

Also, Tom Crouch, a guy who made his fortune in hogs and pork bellies and went on to own Kentuckiana Farms where I bought a lot of my horses, liked to say, "If you're going to own livestock, you'll eventually own deadstock."

Tom Crouch who played fastpitch softball?

Another very good episode.

The inclusion of Not Chrissy/Maybe Mrs. Dr. Ken was enjoyable as well.

I can't picture this Tom Crouch playing fast pitch softball, but I don't know.

I noticed my review still didn't show up. I sent it through again this morning. No clue how long it takes these things to pop.

My review popped up. They must have some screening process that delays the posting of a review.

I indirectly asked Terry to be your NFL expert. He didn't say no. I'm waiting "on hold"

David Fales won't even be there. We will just talk about him.

I think I'd have to read too much fairly recent Yankee history to cohost with sr86.

I did see Pride of The Yankees. Good flick.

Couple cool, weird stats - somebody from London downloaded this episode yesterday for the first official international download.

Also, downloads spiked today for some reason. More than the last 5 days combined. I did see that some of our search terms are registering with iTunes now, so maybe that's something. If you search "Chus", we come up.

Anyway, expect the New Year's Ugie episode to be up maybe as early as tomorrow before we go back to a regular schedule for 2017.
