So what was THE NUMBER?

PASTAFACT:I have worked in the computer field my whole life and was creating intranet (not internet)web pages back in the 90's before people even heard of the"web" for a worldwide Fortune 500 company.

I prefer to play the wacky uncle on here though because if I ever got serious,I might depress myself.

An interesting side note to that discussion is that I'm not sure anyone besides maybe Nas really knew that there was always a contingency plan for a replacement board in the Doomsday Scenario of bigfan shutting it down(or shutting down enough users).

Some clarifying definitions that my drunk and rambling brain got incorrect in the podcast: Website session = the entire visit duration of a website user, including all pages of the website viewed. For example, I come to ChicagoFanatics.com, click on four different threads, then close my browser. That counts as one session. Unique Page View = "represents the number of sessions during which that page was viewed one or more times." This is a very valuable statistic that contributes to advertising dollars and overall website value. Unique Website Visitor = "refers to the number of distinct individuals requesting pages from the website during a given period, regardless of how often they visit." This is the most valuable statistic that contributes the most to a website's value.
