Go on...

What is the theory? It did seem odd.

The store manager came from Texas and there was reportedly issues with someone from her church there and she took off and left and moved to Illinois. I believe they investigated people down in Texas at one point but there seems more to it.
A guy walks in to rob a place like that in a extremely busy shopping plaza on a Saturday around 10 am when they probably have close to their highest amount of traffic going through the store. Then he gets away when the cops pulled up seconds later and no cameras caught anything?

So what's the theory that people have about what really happened?

Some people say that it was just a robbery gone bad. That's the narrative that the police were/are saying.

I think it was someone that the the store manager and the Tinley Park police department dropped the ball again. They apparently waited more than 6 months to investigate anything that was going on with the manager and Texas.

I don't believe they had cameras everywhere like they do now, I'm sure the tinley pk police couldn't find their ass with both hands and a map but I thought the FBI took over that case pretty quickly.

Makes the 9/11 conspiracy more plausible.

Good job guys, I'm in on the JFK conspiracy stuff. I buy into the "Secret Service/friendly fire" theory as the most probable

I don't know a lot of people who think Oswald did it.

Totally forgot about the FDR/Pearl Harbor one.

What about a conspiracy theory with actual real world ramifications, like Stern suspending Jordan for gambling for 18 months and costing the Bulls two titles?

This is one that I never could figure out. Was it the NBA or someone else... After all his father was just murdered by a couple of "random guys." Could that have been the warning to go away for a while from someone else?

When it comes to Stern, I thought the fixing of the Knicks/Ewing draft lottery was more likely.

What's your pet conspiracy theory, Ugie?

Mine is the fake moon landing.

Mine has always been JFK.

I've read, researched, and watched more content on that event than probably anything else. Sadly I've never been to Dallas, but hopefully in the next couple of years I will.

Worth going. The Museum is ok. There are some interesting items as well. Ruby's pistol for example was there on loan. The best part is that you can get really close to the sniper's nest. That view alone was worth it. They are still super weird about it I saw a guy get escorted out for taking pictures from the angle of Oswald's view. As soon a security grabbed him I walked over, ducked under the rope and took a picture of Dealey Plaza from the widow. There are marks on the street from where the bullets hit. And there are people selling Kennedy stuff on the streets like it's a baseball game rather that a murder scene. I've actually met the director and almost had a job at the museum that would have been pretty fun.

As for the conspiracy theory, it seems like a strange occurrence that Lyndon Johnson's protege was being investigated and testifying before Congress that exact same day, but history is full of those. The Warren Commission clearly had another agenda than just discovering the truth. The CIA had too many secrets to allow for a full investigation. How was Oswald, a Marine defector to the Soviet Union just allowed back in the country with his Russian wife and not under a detail?

Dealey Plaza is fucking surreal. It still looks remarkably similar to 1963. I just stood there for 45 minutes in awe.
