Dr. ken can say no. But I thought the Doc can do a segment with this for his next podcast. Answering questions. 1. What is your net worth? Can I be in the will? Granted, the kids and wife should be before me. I guess.  But i should at least get 5%.

God says nothing back. I don't remember hearing it before. First time on that album and thought it was great. A lot of other songs on there too that I wasn't familiar with but really liked. |

Betelgeuse. You were very close to a fantastic telescope opportunity... the Orion nebula. Beautiful in even a smallish backyard scope. Betelgeuse is a red supergiant, one of the largest stars we can measure. In fact it's so big the can actually resolve a disc rather than a simple point of light like other stars. It's going to go supernova soon (soon being a million years or so, or perhaps it already has and we don't know yet) and when it does... it's going to be bright enough that it will cause shadows. It's so big that were it at the suns location it's surface would extend past Mars orbit, extending almost to Jupiter. Someday our sun will grow into a red giant. It's not big enough to go supernova. But similar. |

I'll be posting in my astronomical events soon about the upcoming total solar eclipse. The wife and I are going chasing! |
