Wanting to do something nice for the fiance, so looking into spending a weekend at a nice bed and breakfast or resort along Lake Michigan. Anyone have any recommendations? Moderately clean and a beach on the resort are the only real requirements. Thanks!

Rented a house in Kenosha on the beach about 5 years ago. Right on lake Michigan, very cool. I have looked on VRBO and there are a few available...

In my travels, the one place I have never been to and just assume it is run down shit that has HUGE potential...The Illinois Beach/Convention/Hotel? Looks like it was nice in 1963 and that was the last time they changed the carpet is my guess.

Know some people that looked into acquiring it. The price was fine, the kickbacks needed were the problem...welcome to Illinois. Excuse me......donations
