They did raise the prices then a few bucks, TBone.

A Dr at my wife's work bought my two extra Monday practice round tickets last year for $400ea. I do not doubt for a second that had I brought those extra tickets with me and tried to sell them on the street down there, I could have easily moved them for close to a grand each. We drove by the course on the Saturday before the Masters, and i probably saw at least twenty people just standing on the side of the road and in parking lots holding signs looking to buy tickets.

You have to be a certain distance away from the property to scalp the tickets according to my dad. If you are too close you are going to get arrested.
Most of the people set up that I saw were a good half mile away from the property. Not sure if that is a local ordinance or what. We bought our tickets
for the price you got for yours. Not really sure if it was worth it for half a day but nothing we can do about it. I honestly don't have any reason to go
back again after this last trip. I'll still enter the lottery for tix but would likely sell them off.

I think this tournament more than any other major allows for a more "average" guy to win. With the weather not looking too hot the
first few days with rain and wind it opens it up to a few more who can hit the ball long. I think it sets up well for Rory this year but my
dark horse pick this year is Kevin Chappell. Don't ask me why, but I just have a feeling he might put it all together this week.

When I was lucky enough to go I won 3 tickets in the lottery. One of my guys backed out so I had an extra. I offered to a client because I know he always wanted to go. He took it and went down there with his adult son. They figured they would just get a ticket for him on the street. Well, they were about to get in line at one of the scalper tents and just started chatting with a guy standing next to them waiting to cross the street. Turns out this guy had an extra and just gave it to him. Didn't even want the $60.

We had booked a hotel about half way between Atlanta and Augusta for the night before and the night of the Monday practice round. On the Saturday night on the way down my buddy had a pain in his groin and ended up in the ER in Chattanooga. Of course I was bored just waiting around in the lobby while he was in seeing the doctor and googled motels in Augusta. Ended up booking a room just off the interstate about a mile and half from the course for $150!

It's important to have a strict "missionary only" policy on the day before Round 1.

I almost slipped on wooden stairs multiple times last week at the house I was staying at. I buy it if you aren't paying attention to what you are doing.

According to the Golf Channel, he was walking outside in the rain, while wearing socks. Who does that?

Yeah, seems like an odd thing if he fell outside, just saying falling on wooden stairs could really happen. Now if he was pulling a Robert Allenby
and was drinking and fell down and was covering it up by saying he slipped that is something else all together but I don't think that is what he
is into any longer.

I think I complain about it every year and I understand The Masters is "different" but it's pretty stupid you don't even get a full round of coverage with it on Thursday or Friday. I don't think it would change anything if we had seen them playing since noon.

All I gotta say is I better hear about DJ needing back surgery in the next couple weeks or he is the biggest pussy in sports history.

On a related note, this should really put into perspective how amazing it is that I manage to tee it up as often as I do after having 7 spine surgeries.
