Weather supposed to be windy again but not quite as severe as yesterday. Good chance that the greens will start drying out and
speeding up. Top 50 and those within 10 strokes make the cut. No idea where that is going to fall. My guess is somewhere around
2 or 3 over but could certainly be higher. All eyes on Hoffman this morning. He played a hell of a round yesterday but chances are
he will come back to the field a little bit today and there will be guys who have lights out rounds today as well. An awful lot of guys
bunched up which makes for a very exciting next three days.

Got there around 8:30 Weds, parked in a gas station lot across the street from the North entrance. After getting in we decided to alter plans and skip the gift shop because we weren't sure how much time we'd have so we figured it was best to try to see the course. So we walked down 10 to Amen corner (on the south end of the course). Shortly there after the sirens went off so back up north we went.

We then went to the grocery store across the street, loaded up on beer, sushi and sandwiches, then went back to the car and had a tailgate while monitoring status of reopening on the radio (580 on your dial). They reopened at 1 or something so back we went. This time we got in the gift shop line since it looked pretty short. About 10 minutes later we were about 10 yards from getting in when they closed the course again, this time for good.

So all in all we spent about 90 minutes there. Even though we didn't see much it was still a lot of fun and it indeed was gorgeous (even though the azaleas were past their peak). Weather is a known risk and I would do it again. I may write Augusta a letter telling them how much we enjoyed our few moments there and kind of beg them to let us try again next year.

Sergio gets an undeserved bad rap from some people. Over the past year or so I've really taken a liking to him. He's all class, supposed to be a great guy, seems very well liked by the other pros and works his ass off at his game. Really hoping he wins a major. Can't think of anyone who deserves it more.

+1 I've also come to root for him. I think it has to be hard to grow up in the spotlight like he has. Really seems like he has matured the last 5
years and I know he is getting married later this year and has been a good influence on him. Hard worker that really loves the game. Not unlikeable
like Willett was at Ryder.
