What kind of a nancyboy needs handwarmers on the golf course?

Oh, that's right, you.

Have a good time. I've never played that one but hear it is a nice course.

super nice.

it was pretty much to be expected. in the high 90's. we played from the tips which is excruciating. buddy hit a hole in one from 215 though. it was pretty great.

That resembles my birdie chip-in at the Joe Orr Road Road Invitational.

Sans dance.

Big win today in a two man tournament at Sportsman. Beautiful day to spend 7 hours outside golfing. 9 holes best ball, 9 holes scramble and then 9 holes alternate shot. Got out to a great start in best ball and we were 6 under net and then ended up 3 under for the scramble for -9 and a 3 stroke lead at lunch. Tried to give it away on the alternate shot when my partner (5 index) pulled his approach into a pond and we doubled. Bogeyed the next, but then I chipped in for birdie from the rough (no dance) and we settled down to hang on for a 2 stroke victory net and a tie for the gross.

First time I ever won anything golf related. Weather was brutal. I showed up wearing a parka and ski goggles.

While waiting for sushi last night at Tsukasa, I found myself watching some coverage of the East Lake Cup, which is a match play event for the college players.

I quickly noticed one of the women golfers...unbelievably hot...and incredible at golf it turns out.

From USC, Lily Muni He. For this, I could definitely tune in for some LPGA action.

Saw your pic on Facebook. I played with the guys that won the gross portion of your tournament in an event at Midlane this spring.
They called me out of the blue after I played with one of them a couple of years ago.

yea saw her last year in the NCAA tourney, she's smoking.

Even hotter than my favorite Frenchie, Shannon Aubert of Stanford.

No sexy pix of Aubert online, have to go with this one..

ha, small world. We actually tied them in the gross, but according to the rules you can't win both so they gave them the gross title since we already had the net.

I was always a fan of Sara (no H) Brown from School of Golf & Big Break back in the day.

I'm still holding out hope for one more late season round later in the month.

38/39/77 at Prairie Landing. Played solo in 2.5 hrs. Rare round of solid iron play throughout. Only missed a few GIR. Played a Callaway Chrome Soft for the 1st time - loved the feel on full shots, really easy to control. A little firm on chips and putts. Course was in phenomenal shape

that's a great score out there. Sounds like your game has really taken a big jump forward this whole season.

The wind was almost non-existent out there, except for a few holes and the rain over the last few days really softened up the greens. I've played 30+ rounds at PL and never experienced a lack of wind like that. It was around 45* most of the day but it felt much warmer.

Another thing was the practice holes. First time I've taken advantage. Played 2 balls on the 1st hole and I was ready to go. I didn't hit a bad iron all day. Very rare for me. Misses were pin-high 20 feet left/right of the hole.

Played yesterday and was 4 down at the turn. I ended up winning 2 up. Shooting 44-37 will do that.

 Never.

If the Friday forecast holds, I plan to tee it up again.

After breaking 80 at a legit course, I fully expect a reality check.

You could always George Costanza it and leave on a high note. That's what I did.

Check out Cut Golf if you want to try some high-quality golf balls at cheap prices. I've played each model and prefer the Cut Grey.

I will definitely try the Cut Grey.

The Cut Blue has a red number and the Cut Red has a blue number. That's unseemly.

Why don't you try those out in the 25 degree wind chills on Friday?
