The Thanksgiving Phil vs Tiger challenge is must watch golf for me. He has gotten so much better lately. The irons are gold. I'd half recommend that he just tee off with the 2 iron on every non par three, but that would be tantamount to admitting that he can't master the driver again, so I doubt we'll see that.

I know every golfer has their near misses on puts. But most can hit the damn drive straight on a non windy day. Tiger fucked up at least 6 drives.

How can you be Woods and not hit one fairway with your driver?

That's like being Minnesota Fats and not being able to hit a break in pool.

He certainly is, but I am just not a fan of his for some reason. Never liked him.

I watched some yesterday afternoon. It is funny to me that Tiger still can't help showing his real self when he hits a bad shot. He also just falls right back into that long drawn out follow through when he knows he nailed a long putt. He is a pretty interesting machine whether you like him or not.

This is the same guy who said minutes after winning his first major that he wasn't excited because golf is just a job for him and he'd rather be doing a lot of other things instead.
