I still see no valid point to tip a buffet waiter like a regular waiter when they perform 20-30% less duties than a traditional service waiter. Unless they buffet waiters are giving you hand jobs under the table.

They don't perform less services, which you would know if you ever worked a fucking buffet in your life.

They don't bring the fucking food to the table nor do they take the food order, so what other activities do they perform that backfills those other two roles?

I've done both. The only thing that is easier about buffet/catering is that you don't have to do the orders but normally you are in charge of more people and work just as hard if not harder.

Yes I've caddied and yes, if you are not carrying a bag, you get less tip. Also master caddies who know the yardage, give club usage advice..etc.. also make more. People like you are fucking up the entire tipping system.

They normally are in charge of more tables than a regular waiter would be and normally you are still responsible for drink refills and special requests like the guy wanting A1 sauce or needing a high chair.

Ok, and these "In-Charge" duties are not fucking hard at all. A bus boy/hostess could probably do them. More ketchup? Make sure the old broad doesn't put the chicken in her purse..etc.

I caddied at the old Woodmar in Hammond Indiana. Now Cablellas. I made shit for tips. All the rich jews belong to Briar Ridge.

I worked a Catholic club. I cannot speak to the tipping habits of Jews on the golf course. I believe good dolphin can provide such information.

$5 is the standard tip for 2 diners eating at a place without full waiter service. That's what I tip at places like Mother Cluckers and Kabobi where you place your order at the counter and they bring the food and drinks out to you. Buffet seems to be in the same tier.
