Absolutely . There’s something to be said for the perseverance to go through 4 back surgeries , 4 knee surgeries , have an Abbatacolaesque personal life and return to the very top of your profession at an age when winning Majors should just about be out of the question .

In addition to Tiger, big shout out to the Masters for adjusting the sunday schedule to beat the weather.

Cubs could take a lesson from that. It was clear for a week it was going to snow yesterday and now it is going to be hard to find a day to do a make up game. They should have just done a day-night doubleheader on Saturday.

It was a weird day. Between the snow and the Masters being done so early, I was all goofed up. I'm not sure if I liked the earlier start time or not, but regardless they might the right call because the weather was a mess in Augusta later in the day.

I have been very disappointed with the inability of the Cubs logistics team to think outside of the box. All the smart people take the baseball ops jobs while they give the rest of the jobs to all the liberal/queer interns from DePaul.
